The village of San Vincenzo a Torri and of Ginestra Fiorentina are respectively 2km away grocery and bakery stores, pharmacy, bank, restaurant, news stands, and petrol stations are within minutes from the house. Only 16km (10miles) to Florence the toll free highway is 3km from the house. Car is a must.

With its 42 mt of height, Torre Salvucci Maggiore is one of the medieval town's famous towers and today the only one turned into a vertically-spread accommodation divided into 11 floors for a total of 143 steps. The strategic position allows to make excursions, thermal paths, archaeological, food and wine and are within just an hour by car, the most important art cities of Tuscany (Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Florence). Castagneto Carducci is a beautiful medieval village dating back to the year 1000.
