Nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside, this charming Portland stone cottage offers a quintessential English retreat. Set within the grounds of a historic Old Rectory, the property is surrounded by rolling hills, lush meadows, and the tranquil River Frome, providing an idyllic spot for a holiday. It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

We welcome you to stay at our home and in the beautiful surroundings of West Dorset. We offer a lovely one bedroom (double bed) self catering annexe which has all the comforts that you'll need! It is well equipped and has fresh towels, bed linen, tea towels and everyday essentials. Relax and enjoy beautiful Cattistock. We have a beautiful village with a historic pub the Fox and Hounds and a village shop. August 26 update. We cannot offer the BBQ and fire pit until we are out of the heat wave

It is very individual and situated in a quiet , rural setting. It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The village of Martinstown has an excellent pub and shop. The farm sits on the old Roman Road with Roman burial grounds, Jurassic coast and seaside resort of Weymouth within easy reach as well as the Isle of Portland whose stone built London!
