Historic Swafield Hall, South Wing apartment

Glowing review. We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 children and we'll behaved small dog, our apartment was really lovely. The grounds around the Hall are just incredible. The Hall is steeped in history, grade 2 listed and has been brought back to life by the current owners Tim and Boris. The apartment was really well equipped, with a rainfall shower and excellent country location. Cromer beach is about 6 miles away. We aim to go back in the summer to enjoy the Hall in the sunshine. Thank you to both Tim and Boris for all the hard work you have put into the Hall we loved it and hope all future guests enjoy it as much as we did and treat it with the respect it deserves.

We spent a lovely weekend in Boris and Tim's home and were very grateful for their flexibility around an amendment to our booking which made it possible to stay there. Their garden is SUBLIME and of course May is the most idyllic month to see English herbaceous borders in full bloom. Incredible hedges, wonderful sweeping lawns, majestic trees and lots of space to sit outdoors in the sunshine. They recommended great pubs for dinner (Gunston Arms in a sensational deer park) so we had great food while in Norfolk. Highly recommend, thank you Boris and Tim

We had a wonderful week at Swafield Hall. Boris and Tim were very helpful and friendly. The Hall and gardens are beautiful. There were six of us (adults) and a dog. It is very spacious. Towards the end of our stay another family arrived, but we still had plenty of space and privacy. The place is very dog friendly. It is in a great location. We would highly recommend it.

Lovely place the setting was gorgeous we all had a fabulous time thankyou so much for mum& dads hamper that you left us ! The hot tub was just right all in all was a lovely break for us all & the dogs loved it aswell!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here was looking for a quiet scenic place to stay for my partners birthday that wasn’t too far from home this ticked all the boxes and was far better than we expected. Will definitely be coming back:)

A lovely stay, in a lovely house. Perfectly situated for being right in the middle of town, which our boys loved as the weather wasn’t great this time.. so the amusements got a fair few visits. Lovely kitchen and great for the extended family we had come with us. Christian was so accommodating with us having a young son with diabetes and travelling with insulin. Lovely welcome pack too, which was much appreciated. Thank you !

Karin was so kind and welcoming, and the house and grounds — aside from being gorgeous — are comfortable, peaceful, and delightfully steeped in history. Even my cat, a particularly anxious creature, found the house easy to settle into (and even found some playmates in Karin’s cats). My experience, in short, was above and beyond. I highly recommend this booking.

Our stay at this beautiful house made sure Christmas 2024 was wonderful! Three generations were so very comfortable, the house has everything you need and so much more! The grandson's adored the warm pool and the space the house provided. The adults loved the home from home feel, the top quality appliances in the kitchen used for Christmas lunch, the amazing facilities, the short walk round the corner to the lovely beach and the nearby pub where everyone was so welcoming! Couldn't have wished for a better stay.
