Welcome to Ursus Slumber! Enjoy beautiful, long range unobstructed mountain views in all seasons from this unique mountain home, nestled into scenic Shenandoah Valley. You’ll find yourself in relaxation heaven, with myriad opportunities to unwind – HOT TUB, oversized deck, patio with a cozy swing, chiminea fire pit, second patio with a bar table overlooking stunning views of mountains and a valley, restful and inviting environment inside the home. Near skiing, hiking, golf, sightseeing and more.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

The home is an adorable cottage perfect for both a romantic getaway or a family/friends retreat. Enjoy views of the small orchard on the 3 acre wooded property from the large deck and two firepits. The Orchard Cottage is a great base to explore local wineries, hiking, and nearby Bryce Resort. Conveniently located 2 hrs from DC, 45 minutes from Harrisonburg, and only 12 minutes from Bayse/Bryce Ski Resort. Only a 15 min drive to I-81 to conveniently access all the Shenandoah Valley has to offer

Welcome to our lovely cabin on the top of the mountain! With sweeping, 270-degree views in three seasons and layers of mountains visible and lush greenery in summer, here you have space to truly disconnect, center yourself in nature, listen to the sounds of crickets, birds, and tree frogs, and enjoy dark sky star views. Enjoy the cooler weather at this altitude, the breeze through the trees, and the spectacular view from the spacious back porch and cozy lighted screened porch on our 5 acre lot.

Pondside Paradise

Welcome to our family’s little getaway. Our 12x20 ft cabin sits beside a 2.5 acre pond. Savor the evening beside a campfire listening to the nightfall on our Valley or from the porch swing. The tiny house/cabin is 2 story with a small but full kitchen (complete with refrigerator, stove, microwave, & coffee maker) and the sleeping area upstairs. Please note that if you have mobility issues our place might not be right for you. Relax and enjoy being unplugged (no TV or Wi-Fi)

This spacious 4 bedroom farmhouse is located in Upper Tract, WV where you can enjoy hiking, fishing, rock climbing and the beauty of the mountain views. We are just minutes from the entrance of Smoke Hole Canyon, Reed's Creek rocking climbing, Swilled Dog Cidery, South Mill Creek Lake and the Highlands Golf Club at Fisher Mountain.

Hot tub AND the waterwheel turns! Cozy romantic couple's getaway repurposed from an historic 18th century gristmill. Great for college parents weekend. Perfect for a honeymoon or babymoon! Covered deck overlooks the picturesque mill, providing relaxing sounds from the creek and waterwheel. The "ghost village" of Moore's Store is now surrounded by orchards and farms. Private yet convenient to wineries, breweries, ski resorts, hiking, caverns and rope adventures.

The Woodland House| WV Allegheny Mtn Get Away

The Woodland House is our 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath home located in the Mon Forest town of Franklin, WV. Enjoy the comforts and luxuries of home while enjoying the fresh air and forests of a trip to the mountains. You'll also have easy access to our small-town amenities while being a short drive from some of West Virginia's favorite destinations like Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks. You can also stay in and enjoy the mountain view without ever leaving the back porch.

Creekside Tiny Cabin aside a Mountain Stream

Creekside is a 312 square foot (plus loft) secluded Tiny Cabin. It is nestled in the woods, with mountain views and absolutely stunning night skies. A picturesque year-round mountain stream is less than 50 feet from the cabin porch. The modern cabin was designed to be comfortable and appealing. Every "tiny" detail was considered. Although the cabin may have limited square footage, it feels roomy and uncrowded.
