Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after first 2 people. Lil House On The Prairie (LHOTP) is aptly named because it’s located on the edge of Nachusa Grassland’s 1,000 acre south Bison pasture. The 100+ herd of free ranging Bison can often be viewed right along the boundary fence to the west! This recently remodeled two bedroom cottage can sleep six with two queen size beds and with a pull out sofa bed. LHOTP offers a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to base your adventures from. This is a brand new condo built specifically for the couple who want to relax in a private, stress free, quite atmosphere. We are located one mile from grocery stores, bars and restaurants. This is a small town so its easy to find whatever you want to do. We have a bike path right outside the door and fitness center half mile down the road. Our condo includes a full kitchen with stove, fridge with ice maker, microwave, dish washer. Private deck area and parking.

Property features a small private beach, canoe, paddleboat, walking trails, and 50 acres of pasture and pine forest. Hunters welcome. Weather conditions causes lakes and ponds to have an increase in algae bloom & duck weed. Because of this naturally occurring event the condition of the lake cannot be guaranteed.
