We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Also includes private lakefront with a dock, raft, bonfire ring with chairs, 4 kayaks, 3 paddleboards, a canoe, and a pedal boat! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place in the north woods. Cabin has 2 twin size beds in the loft and a full size bed on main floor. Includes Kitchen table and chairs and a kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster and a crockpot. There is a bathhouse on site with hot showers and bathrooms. Close to ATV/Snowmobile Trails and you can ride from your site. You will need to provide your own bedding, pillows, towels, cooking utensils and shower items

Custom crafted tiny home! It’s a industrial/rustic style home and equipped with everything you’ll need for a great stay including your own private hot tub! Please make note of the spiral staircase as it is steep. It’s located in a private corner of our property with its own drive so you will feel completely on your own. It’s located about 7 miles from Bellaire and Shorts brewery as well as torch lake. It’s about 45 minutes from traverse city, Charlevoix and Petoskey.

Located seven miles from Mancelona, this woodsy retreat provides easy access to hiking, fishing, canoeing, and skiing. Shorts Brewery, and their famous craft beer, is a fifteen minute drive to downtown Bellaire. Traverse City and Petoskey are just forty-five minutes away. Wander the gardens that are part of the small turn-of-the-century farm, or just enjoy the quiet of the north woods.

Sommer's Retreat

Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.

Unit #121 at the base of Schuss Mountain

Unit 121 is located at the top of Schuss Mountain Lodge. It is within walking distance from some of Northern Michigan's best skiing and golfing. Not to mention, it's only 15 minutes away from Short's Brewery in Bellaire. Unit 121 is located on the second floor and there is not an elevator. This is a one room hotel-like unit. You can sleep four — two on a foldout and two on a queen bed — in the same room. Private bathroom. Very close to the ski hills.
