The perfect place to relax and experience the Lake District mountain and enjoy seeing our Highland Cows and other animals on the farm.

Located in a gorgeous quiet village with an award winning pub, we are only a few miles from some of the most beautiful and less explored lakes in the Lake District. The light and airy barn studio has a lovely bathroom with shower, a kitchenette and studio room with sofa, bed and dining table. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and has 2 hobs and an oven, kettle, toaster etc. This is an ideal location for a single person or couple looking for a country break with stunning lakeside walks.

Situated on the banks of the River Irthing, and a short walk from Lanercost, this is the perfect stop for walkers exploring Hadrian's Wall Country or for anyone simply wanting to connect with nature and switch off. At Holmehead there are 2 huts, The Pheasant and The Partridge Huts, with a holiday cottage coming soon, making it a great place for a family or group holiday.
