Menzies Cottage

Menzies Cottage is an hour east of Melbourne & set high on a mountain-side in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Enjoy views out to the Wellington Road farmlands & Cardinia Reservoir. On a clear day you can see Arthur’s Seat, Port Phillip & Westernport Bays. Visit nearby Puffing Billy Steam Train, go bushwalking, feed the friendly farm animals or settle-in for a lazy afternoon before watching the sun set. The cottage is fully self contained & with your own private entrance, deck & enclosed garden.

Your stay at "Whispering Trees"

Emerald is a beautiful scenic town popular for its picturesque lake and parks and Puffing Billy. Nestled in between the quaint towns of Cockatoo and Belgrave, Emerald is a frequently visited town among tourists to the Dandenong Ranges region. Whispering Trees is a beautiful modern bungalow on our 1 acre property which is completely separate from the main house and within walking distance to the township. We think our bungalow is best suited for couples and solo adventurers and small families.

A few minutes walk to some of Melbourne's best cafes, restaurants, landmark locations and St Kilda beach. Great for couples, business and solo travellers. Distinct living zones for sleeping, cooking, dining and lounging, also an outdoor dining area with barbecue and second outdoor space at the rear.

Willow Gum Cottage

Tucked away on a hillside, beneath some beautiful gum trees, and just 5 minutes from the heart of Mornington and its sandy beaches, you'll find this charming two bedroom Miners Cottage. Wake up in the morning to the sound of kookaburras, relax on the large veranda looking out towards leafy Mount Eliza, watch Foxtel on the large TV, or sit out in the evening around the fire pit with a glass of wine from a local winery. Willow Gum cottage has everything for a unique and tranquil getaway.

You’ll probably want to move here! Spacious and bright, with beautiful high beamed ceilings. Free on-street parking. Dogs welcome. Only a lemon’s throw from Melbourne’s most delicious cafes and restaurants, the MCG, AAMI stadium, HiSense and Rod Laver Arena, and 20 mins walk through gardens to Melbourne CBD.

The Artisan’s Cottage The Patch, Dandenong Ranges

Situated in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, a one hour drive from Melbourne's CBD, The Artisan’s Cottage is a truly unique place to unwind. Set in almost one acre of rambling gardens, the cottage features a spacious bedroom with a queen sized bed, a beautifully appointed ensuite, a large living/dining room warmed by a wood fire and a well equipped kitchenette. The Artisan's Cottage is home to Penny Olive Sourdough bakery and Tiny Block Wine, run by your hosts Penny and Andrew.

Cute studio in the garden

A sweet, comfortable, private light-filled studio opening onto a small courtyard. Located in the heart of Northcote, only minutes from the High Street cafes, bars, music venues and public transport, this studio is suitable for one or two people. The studio is in the garden, has its own private entrance, wifi, an ensuite bathroom, some kitchen facilities, shared BBQ and outdoor eating setting. Occasionally at night you might see or hear native possums running across the roof.

You’ll love the unique design & ambience of the property, the stunning views, peace and tranquility; yet less than an hour by car from Melbourne CBD. Featured on Neighbours Xmas special December 2024. Note: We host photoshoots but not in the Cottage.

A Cottage with a View at Tudor Ridge

A cottage with a view at Tudor Ridge. Fully self contained stone farmhouse with two fireplaces. Two bedrooms with ensuite, one with Spa, also with kitchen and laundry. (For 2 guests, we lock off the second bedroom). The farmhouse was built back in the early 1900s as one of the original houses in the Kallista area. It boasts some of Melbournes most magnificant views. Views are to Cardinia Dam, down the Mornington Peninsula and to the Bays.

Sorrento Garden Cottage

The Cottage is ideally located a short walk to Sorrento Village - restaurants, cafes, and great shopping. An easy walk to ocean and bay beaches. A great base to explore golf courses, hot springs, wineries. There are many coastal walks to enjoy. The cottage provides a lovely space in which to relax. Long weekends are a minimum 3 night booking. * We would prefer guests to be fully COVID vaccinated. My husband and I are fully vaccinated.

Dingleigh of Sassafras - Reader's Cottage

A forest hideaway in the Dandenong Ranges. Nestled between ferns and maples, Dingleigh of Sassafras is one of the original cottages on the property, lovingly restored and updated. Walking proximity to Sassafras, local shops, famous gardens & the national park. Dingleigh and its gardens offer an ideal location for wedding preparations and small wedding ceremonies. Photo shoots and video locations are also available upon request.
