Within a 45 minute drive you have Houghton Lake, smaller lakes, splash pads and casinos, something for the whole family.

Private dock; great fishing; plenty of space on double lot for parking, including room for your boat/snowmobile trailer, space for yard games, bon fire and more. We are near several golf courses, casino, snowmobile trails, state game/wildlife areas, and more. Boat rental information available, upon request or feel free to bring your own.

This charming cottage has a master bedroom with a king size bed and a second bedroom with 2 twin beds. The sun room has a pull out sofa bed. Some amenities include AC, 2 parking spaces, and one of the few private, sandy beaches on the lake. The shallow water and slow drop off make it perfect for little kids. Close to the intersection of M55 and M115, you are in walking distance of everything you need (even ice cream!). It is the 2nd cottage, not the one you see from the lake. No dock.

We love Cowden lake because it's 30-45 minutes from Grand Rapids, all sports, good fishing, and great water! This cottage is perfect for friends and family looking for a relaxing and fun weekend away. It has a great upper deck for morning coffee right off the kitchen, large basement for kids to play on rainy or cold days, but the best part is the water just steps from the deck. Bring floaties and soak up the sun! Or your own boat and launch it just a little down the road.
