This was a beautiful and peaceful stay! The views are out of a magazine and the apartment itself was beautifully rustic. If you want a true countryside experience and to be out of the hustle and bustle, this is for you. The place was perfectly cleaned and fully stocked with everything we may have needed. In addition Sara and Marcelo, the ‘local contacts’ were extremely nice and helpful. We accidentally locked ourselves out one evening and the two were immediately responsive and helped save the day haha. Great place, would recommend if you are looking to have a peaceful countryside experience.

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in der Toskana mit traumhaftem Ausblick. Einfach toll, wir sind begeistert und wollen unbedingt wieder kommen. Fabio ist super nett und die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht. Große Empfehlung !

Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft! Das ganze Areal ist perfekt zum entspannen und entdecken! Man ist nicht weit weg von den bekannten Städten kann aber auch die Zeit super in der Natur verbringen. Auf dem Areal selber gibt es einige Wanderwege, bei denen man auch einige Tiere besuchen kann. Ansonsten war aber auch der Pool super zum entspannen. Es gibt ein super Buch mit allen Tipps für die Umgebung inklusive Restaurants und Ausflügen sowie die beste Bäckerei nicht weit weg von der Unterkunft! Auch bei Problemen wurde uns direkt geholfen und wir hatten ein ganzen Team zur Hilfe als unser Auto nicht angesprungen ist, danke nochmal dafür!

Wat een fantastische huis en tuin. We waren met 3 families in de leeftijd van 8 maanden tot zeventig jaar, voor ieder was er voldoende aanwezig. Het zwembad was fantastisch, iedereen genoot ervan. In de tuin is zoveel te ontdekken, bomen, struiken, kruiden, vol vlinders en insecten en zelf een niet gevaarlijke schorpioen, heel avontuurlijk. Nella was zelf niet aanwezig maar reageerde snel voor onze vragen. Ook had zij een kok geregeld om een avond voor ons te koken. Lily en haar dochter Isabella hebben super heerlijke traditionele Italiaanse gerechten voor ons gekookt, super! En Fabritius bracht een heerlijke rode wijn mee. Cortona is te belopen, wel moet je wat conditie hebben. Het stadje is prachtig en het theatertje prachtig om te zien met een heerlijk restaurant ernaast. Wij komen zeker terug♥️

Una location stupenda. Flavia è un host eccezionale: accoglienza con tanto di introduzione turistica alla val d'Orcia e degustazione del loto ottimo vino (da acquistare assolutamente, con ottimi prezzi). A ogni necessità, Flavia è super disponibile e veloce nel risolvere i problemi. L'appartamento si presenta pulito e fornito di tutto il necessario per immergersi nella vita di campagna! Consigliatissimo.

Le seul chose que je pourrais dire de négatif c’est le manque d’éclairage pour la cuisine et salle à manger . Pour le reste tout est parfait si on aime le décor de la campagne:-)

I went to Val d'Orcia by car, and google maps took me right into Daniela's place no problem. Upon arrival, we were cheerfully greeted by their two friendly dogs, that barked our arrival to a friendly and receptive older lady who showed us where to park the car and proceeded to show us our place. The place is on the ground floor of the property and has no direct connection with the rest of the house where the hosts live. It has a bedroom, a bathroom and an open space style kitchen-living room. It is just a five-minutes drive to the historic centre of San Quirico d'Orcia, where you will find a market (Coop) and other places to eat. Bear in mind that these places close during the afternoon. It is extremely straightforward to go to Pienza and Montepulciano from there by car. The location is beautiful and fairly easy to access by car. There are some narrow roads leading to the property but nothing to worry about. Overall the stay was excellent and I would recommend Il Colombaio.

Wunderschöne und geschmackvolle Anlage in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Ausblick. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet sowie blitzsauber! In der Küche findest du alles was du für deinen Aufenthalt benötigst (Öl, Salz, Zucker etc.) ein tolles Extra ist das kleine „Willkommenspaket“ von Ian mit Wein, Brot, Butter und mehr - Danke! Wir können den Aufenthalt bei Ian mit seinen zwei großartigen Hunden Fellow und Ludwig wärmstens empfehlen! Besuche während deines Aufenthalts die mittelalterliche Stadt Anghiari und für Backwaren die Antico Forno Bindi und mache unbedingt einen großen Spaziergang durch die Weinberge und Wälder rund um die Unterkunft.

We absolutely adored our stay at La Foresteria. Beautiful location, gorgeous property so relaxing and idyllic. We had so many wonderful walks around the property, visited many beautiful places close by and enjoyed plenty of relaxation by the pool and gardens. Stunning meals in the restaurant and the wine tasting was superb. Marian, Luca and Monika were incredible, so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough. Many thanks to all the team, you made our holiday so special and we’d definitely love to return sometime.

Place was beyond beautiful. House was perfectly well maintained and Bianca was a very warm and responsive host. Amenities were great. One cannot regret choosing this property. It was genuinely a very good deal.

Stephen en Jennifer doen er alles aan om het hun gasten naar de zin te maken. We voelden ons er direct thuis. Ze zijn altijd bereikbaar voor vragen, tips etc. Aan alles is gedacht tot aan plastic wijnglazen voor bij het zwembad. Ook leuk dat er gasten van allerlei nationaliteiten komen. Kortom een klein paradijsje in Toscane! We zouden het iedereen die massatoerisme probeert te ontwijken aanbevelen! Dank voor het fijne verblijf!

We absolutely loved our stay at Il Torino! The staff were so helpful and kind, and the room was really comfy. It was r free eat to have a kitchen so we could store some food and prep when we wanted a break from going out to eat, though all the local restaurants we went to were so wonderful! We used the pool and tennis courts which were so fun, and the laundry was very helpful. It helps to have a car if you want to do any excursions from the resort. Would recommend to anyone!

The view here leaves you absolutely breathless. I can’t emphasize this enough. If you are coming to Tuscany to soak in the vistas, colors and textures book this Airbnb!!! I guarantee it alone is worth booking for! The interior is really nice and cozy too. The garden is perfect. And on top of all that the service was 5 star - very attentive and helpful. We will be back if life provides the opportunity.

Luca's place was like a little dream, a beautiful house in an incredible location, super peaceful and mesmerising, great for a little jump out of busy cities and noisy every day life thanks to a beautiful scenery with lovely rustic vibes. Private sauna an incredible bonus! Luca has been very friendly and welcoming, the whole experience is incredibly recommended. ❤️

wir haben es sehr genossen dort. leider konnten wir das schöne Schwimmbad sowie den Grill-Bereich nicht nutzen aufgrund unseres dichten Programms - wir müssen wohl nochmal kommen ;)

We LOVED outrstay here. First of all, Lorenzo was a fantastic host, communicative, available for every need, lovely to talk to. The property is incredible - a beautiful peaceful space to walk around, and some adorable cats to pet. Our favorite things about this space include: the gorgeous outdoor picnic setting for our meals, spotless kitchen with anything you need to cook, complete blackout and silence at night for a restful sleep and privacy. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to explore Tuscany, as this is a great place to stay and a reasonable drive from main Tuscan sites.

An incredible home, beautifully designed and restored. Rob and Illonka were both friendly, fun, and very caring for us. They came to help us when we had car trouble and always gave us fantastic recommendations for everything from parking lots to wonderful restaurants. The property is beautiful and so peaceful. There are plenty of towns and cities close by to visit, our favorites being Assisi, Gubbio, and Perugia. A car is a must, and this home has cylindrical stairs, so not good for anyone wobbly on their feet.
