Lakeside Shepherd Hut in Secluded Woodland Setting

Enjoy a restful break from a busy life, back in nature's arms. Stop look and listen to the wind blowing through the trees, the light glistening off the water and let the world go by. The hut is comfortable with modern facilities for short or long stays. Set in the countryside, in a wooded area which is surrounded by fields, beside Fairbourne Lake covering 4.8 acres. There is a further 3.2 acres of woodland on private land, to wander at your leisure. All not far from Romsey and the Test Valley.

Escape to a private 80-acre woodland, just 10-15 minutes from the historic, and picturesque, city of Salisbury. Enjoy tranquil trekking trails, or relax by the secluded lake. Glide through the trees, from the fun kids treehouse, on our 100 ft zip-line, or wind down by immersing yourself in nature with a good soak in our wood-fired Dutch tub. We believe our guest cottage offers the perfect balance of natural and peaceful comfort; ideal for romantic escapes, family adventures, or digital detoxes.

The Garden Wing is a very special tranquil place

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). Located on our family farm within an idyllic courtyard of converted barns, beautifully decorated & furnished to a high standard. Accommodating between 6-8 guests + infants. The House borders on the west with the River Test and has uninterrupted views across the water meadows. A perfect retreat for a family or group of friends who want a peaceful getaway with opportunities to explore the natural surroundings.

Oak Lodge with wood-fired hot tub, perfect for 2!

Set in beautiful surroundings, Oak Lodge is a mini log cabin built for 2! Step straight off the decking into your hot tub, enjoy the natural surroundings, visit one of the many local attractions or cosy-up by the fire! Oak Lodge comes complete with bedding, towels, fully-equipped kitchen, log burner, tv and its own wood-fired hot tub! Check-in days are Fridays and Mondays, minimum 3-night stay (please note, this may change over the Christmas period). This is an adult-only, pet-free site.

Beautiful architect designed barn set in private woodland of over 50 acres. John's Barn was the result of a conversion of an existing barn. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan kitchen / living / dining area. The natural woodland, fields, lake and river give the chance to get back to nature and is ideal for children to explore. The wildlife includes herds of deer that you will see up close. The barn is situated 2 miles from the New Forest Park national park.
