Rising Star at Rockin Star Ranch

Bring hiking boots and fishing tackle to this ranch, which offers catch-and-release ponds, 150 acres to explore that are home to Elk, Oryx, axis and more! Cook in our outdoor kitchen, swim in the pool, and act like a kid again on our tire swings. Play ping pong, throw some darts, or challenge your friends and family to a game of cornhole or horseshoes. Rising star is 1 of 4 identical cabins (8 total on ranch)so check out Twinkling Star, Shooting star, or Western Star and bring the whole family! Check out our experiences page to book some horse time/time in the saddle.Hope to see you soon! Rising Star (and the other cabins) is located within steps of our pool and outdoor kitchen. Each cabin is a one bedroom with its its own private kitchenette, bathroom, and living room. The bedroom has one queen bed and there are 2 additional twin beds in the loft above the living room. Outdoor kitchen, pool, pastures, tire swings, courtyards, cabins, fishing ponds (catch and release), the wood, and a game room which is located in the garage of the main house. Game room has ping pong, darts, horse shoes, cornhole We can show you around and chat it up or leave you alone, the choice is yours. Feel free to call or text anytime. Text preferred if after hours or if you don’t get an answer the first time you call. Escape urban life in the peace and solitude of these rural surroundings, located at the end of a country road. That said, the bright lights, together with bars, restaurants, and boutique shopping, can all be found a short drive away from here. Interested in horseback riding? A hayride? Pull right up to within 100 feet or less from the front door of any of our cabins . The ranch is about 15 minutes from the town square so a car is recommended. There are a lot of winding country roads that are great for cyclists. Bring your fishing pole! Bring your hiking boots! Binoculars too. Ranch is over 150 acres so there’s lots of space to roam and adventure.

Inspired by Chip & Jo, this is an updated camp house, filled with antiques and farmhouse decor reclaimed from the property and surrounding areas. Perfect place for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of Houston or Austin, and a great base camp to hit up Round Top weekends and/or all that Austin County has to offer. And in the springtime, come stay amongst the bluebonnets. They cannot be beat!

Wow! This NEWLY renovated 1920's home is steps from downtown and is wonderful for getaways or traveling to festivals, athletic events, or just exploring our beautiful downtown. The home offers that small town feel with modern amenities. With 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a foldout couch, everyone will have their own space. The home has a modern farmhouse touch to add comfort to your stay. This home can accommodate 6 guests. There is convenient parking behind the house. NO pets allowed.

We renovated our office space on the second floor of our Honey House to make a memorable one of a kind vacation stay on our farm. Sleep above where we extract and pack our honey, sit on our screened in porch and enjoy a beautiful view of our farm, visit WildFlyer Mead's tasting room, picnic and BBQ, stroll through our community garden, and shop at our historical honey shop!

Pool towels provided. -Firepit area. I provide firewood, fire starters, & lighter. -Brenham 10 minute drive. Round Top 20 minute drive. Sorry, no pets.

Built in 1900 of European craftsmanship, The Cottage at Chappell Hill is a farmhouse cottage perched above a small pond. It faces Main Street in the heart of a Hallmark-type small town (population: 300). Downtown is only 1/2 mile away with unique shops, diners, landmarks. Brenham is 8 miles away. Formerly owned by artist Kiki Newmann, the cottage has been known as the “Healing House” for decades. It’s the perfect place to unwind, celebrate, and create cherished memories.

Beautiful Country Farmhouse

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Pond for fishing, cows you can feed and horse to pet. Relax on the porch or on the swing hanging from a large oak tree. Your family will love their stay. The house sits on our family property which is on 10 ac res and it is located next to the owners house. We live on the property with our 3 kids it is a working ranch we have cows , horse, dogs and would love for y’all to come stay.

The Burrow: Built 1837

Looking for a peaceful retreat? Are you a history buff looking to soak up some Texas culture? Are you a nature lover wanting to stargaze? Maybe a Football fan heading to Kyle Field? Or Heading to the TX Ren Fest? This dogtrot cottage was built in 1837 and updated in 2016. The clawfoot tub comes with an array of soaking salts/bath bombs. Historic Sears Catalog House fully restored in downtown Cat Spring. Originally delivered as a kit house, delivered by train to Cat Spring and built in 1926, the Almita house was fully restored in 2019. It has real hardwood floors and shiplap walls along with original wood windows along with the features of a modern kitchen with electric range and bathroom with tile floor.
