MK is a fantastic host! Her place is in a wonderful, central location that allows you to easily get around LA which is saying a lot as LA can be a tough city to get around in. The home matched the description and photos. MK was very accommodating, flexible, kind, and responsive - thank you for a great stay!

Jennifer was simply amazing! So responsive, communicative, understanding, kind, accommodating and genuine. Beautiful property which was so accurate to the photos, perfect location, easy instructions and loads of helpful information. The energy at fantastical cottage was so beautiful, it was the perfect getaway.

This was our third trip to Darrell’s place in 2 1/2 years. We just can’t get enough! Each trip we add another night to our stay. We’re already checking our schedule for a trip back in October! This guest house is a tiny home, packed full of everything you need. We enjoyed cooking on the little two burner stove top, extra blankets for lounging around on the outdoor bed, mini fridge holds a lot, toaster oven, space heater for the chilly evenings, tv with cable and WiFi. Our favorite thing about this place is the feeling we get when we’re here. We’re instantly at peace. It’s calm and serene. We enjoyed working on crafts at the picnic table under the trees, listening to the deep wind chimes resonate throughout the property. Birds and other wild life are active and brought life to the experience as well as the flow of the many water falls. Darrell is really friendly, and generous. We’re so grateful that he offers this space to us to rent. Looking forward to our next visit!

Let’s just say we didn’t want to leave. Tom was great super friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Location was amazing only second away from the beach, with bikes the host provided. The house had everything we needed and even toys for the kids. Definitely family stamp of approval.

We had a wonderful time and loved the house! It was extremely clean and well-outfitted. We would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely home in a beautiful location!

Nancy’s place was perfect for us for our week+ stay while visiting family in the area. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything that we needed. Nancy was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the neighborhood as we are big walkers and the neighborhood streets and the preserve trail right at the end of the road were great for exercise. It was a bit of a cool week while we were in SoCal so the heater/fireplace was a welcome plus for keeping us comfortable. As a tea drinker, I was happy to have an electric tea kettle available while my husband enjoyed the keurig machine and the supply of k-cups Nancy provided. We would certainly stay again.

Our stay at Linda’s place was great! Nice touches with hand written notes and snacks to welcome us. Absolutely beautiful garden and outdoor area. You can tell there’s a lot of care that goes into to the property. Inside was clean and the bed was comfortable. Would overall recommend.

We had a short stay at Chuchu’s and loved the home. It’s clean, has all of the things you need, and the pool / sauna area is excellent! Chuchu was very communicative and helpful along the way. Would stay here again!

My first time renting an AirBnB and my first solo trip (well my dog included). The house is adorable from the second you get to the gate. The front yard is beautiful and semi private. Lots of flowers and plants. They have twinkle lights that give a nice ambiance in the evening while sitting outside. I love the style of the interior (which instantly sold me online) They really thought of everything. Everything you need to cook, make coffee, enjoy a glass of wine, and relax. I loved their breakfast nook but my absolute favorite feature was their faux fireplace log under the TV. It was the coolest thing and now I want one lol! The place was super clean and sofa and bed were both comfortable. A home away from home. I definitely plan to come back and highly recommend!

Unique little spot with amazing views. We were even able to get a bit of hiking in - Lisa gave us the inside scoop on how to walk from our lil trailer to the Topanga State Park trails. We spent some time in LA as well as Oxnard to go whale watching - couldn’t have been better situated to access all the good stuff and take some scenic drives (if you’re into that sort of thing). We are into that sort of thing. Well worth the money just for the atmosphere and nature (fell asleep to the croaks of the local frog population) though we didn’t see any. Comfy beds and restful sleep. Thank you!

This sweet little house was great for an extended weekend visit to Santa Barbara! We were able to walk to the local coffee shop and stroll to the Farmers Market on Saturday morning. The driveway is small but our Subaru fit perfect. It is a busy street but not so bad after 10 pm. Dawn is a great host and responds quickly to any inquiry r=or questions. Check in and check out were easy with no issues.

I’m so glad to find such a lovely home away from home when I visit my daughter’s family in South Pasadena. The cottage is adorable! I love the original features like the wooden floors and push out windows. This cottage is behind the main house, but is surrounded by lovely courtyards. It felt very private. Kitchen was well-equipped and beds were comfy. And waking up to the sound of the rooster on the property was a bonus for this city girl. It’s an easy walk to the little town of South Pasadena (just a few blocks), where there are many restaurants and shops. There’s a fun farmer’s market on Thursday evenings just up the street. I arrived on Thursday, so I was able to pick up some things there for my stay. A grocery store and Trader Joe’s are also within walking distance.

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at Dons lovely cottage while visiting Los Angeles. The setting is quiet and peaceful; interior is clean and bright. It manages to be close to everything and secluded at the same time. Don communicates quickly and answered any and all questions with near zero wait time. This is my go-to spot when I’m in Echo Park!

I stay here anytime I am in topanga. Such a lovely oasis. Cooked myself dinner and breakfast, sat in the beautifully clean sauna (heats up quick), took a bath outside, napped in the hammock, and was on my way. Perfect place to stay, 10/10.

The Hummingbird Garden was just what my daughter and I needed for a mini staycation. The house was tiny, as described, but didn't feel too cramped. It had all the necessary amenities, plus Sandra was kind enough to leave a few bagels, cookies and hard boiled eggs! The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, and perfect for sitting and relaxing. There is a little bit of noise from a nearby freeway, but the greenery and the water fountain balance it out nicely and it was not a problem for us at all. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again!

Second time staying at this house, and just as great as the first time. Fabulous location, comfortable, and extremely well-stocked. Great for our two kids--6 and 9--too. A wonderful experience.

Wonderful stay. Wanted to get away from LA and have a nature focused time with my dogs. Felt right at home. Perfect little cabin!!

Nicely laid out space. Plenty of room for 4 people and 2 dogs. All surfaces were clean and easy to clean. So many toys to use for the beach. Bikes, boogie boards, chairs and a wagon. Made it so much easier to pack. Great to have a laundry space. Parking was easy. Entering the place was easy. Ernie was very communicative. Loved the place. Will. Be back.

stayed for proximity to Dodgers Stadium. beautiful historic home and neighborhood. Didn't use it, but metrorail station is a short walk away. Parking was fine on the street out front. Nice park for running or walking nearby. Grocery, fast food and restaurants all within walking distance. would certainly stay here again.

Perfect stay in Geraldine's cottage nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. It was adorable! The house was clean, safe, comfortable and relaxing. Super close to Malibu and the freeway. Nice walk to the Old Place in the morning to grab a cup of coffee where I go to see some Peacocks. I will be back.

Great location. Everything was walkable and bonus a park for the kids close by.

Home was as pictured and described. Makes you feel right at home. Very cozy home and has all needed amenities listed. Everything was clean and in place. I had a great four day stay and enjoyed everyday. Very peaceful area and you can walk to the rose garden to take awesome pictures.

What a peaceful place tucked in a quiet hilltop full of nature surroundings. Absolutely no traffic/people noise and lots darkness with an incredible view when the fog rolls away. It blew our minds! A perfect base of operations for a week stay with all we needed and the host right next door (over a private gate) which was helpful when we had a few needs that he responded quickly and kindly. We were impressed how close we were to things even though it felt like we were far, far away. We cannot wait to stay there again! Note to those that drive a Tesla, do NOT use the car gps/maps. It won’t get you there in a direct route. Use Google maps. Plan at least one evening to enjoy the night sky from the hot tub and deck with fire table and grill. It’s not to be missed.

We stayed 1 month in this lovely cottage after our home burned down in the Palisades Fire as we looked for a new home. Sharon was lovely & friendly and the place was a peaceful and beautiful temporary home for us whilst we healed from our loss. Strongly recommended !
