Scenic 2-Acre Retreat + Pool Near Lake Austin

Unwind on the deck and take in the beauty of the Texas Hill Country in this west Austin retreat. This guesthouse is surrounded by nature and wildlife with easy lake access and great hiking trails nearby. Enjoy the roll-up door to bring the outside in and extend the living room onto the deck. If you're looking for a relaxing 5-star experience, this is your place! If you love the outdoors, you will love this place. We built it in an effort to bring the outdoors in. You can raise the glass "garage door" to have a beautiful view of nature and hear the wet weather creek running. You may even spot a deer or fox. It has a cozy king bed and we can also provide a luxury blow up mattress. This is a standalone guest house completely separate from the main house with it's own private driveway. You will have full access to explore the entire property and nearby hiking trails My wife and I are happy to hang out and provide advice on the best places to explore in Austin. However, if you want privacy you will never have to see us. There is a keypad on the front door, so you will have easy access with a key code and the entire transaction can occur through AirBNB. The home is in a very private neighborhood with lots between two and ten acres. The area is secluded and private, yet only 12 miles to downtown, two miles to Lake Austin, 8 miles to Lake Travis, and less than 10 minutes from a range of restaurants. Most people bring their car, but Uber is another great ways to explore Austin from this property. You can also ride your bike to Lake Austin (but you better be in shape to ride back up the hills) The home is in a very private neighborhood with lots between two and 10 acres. Peaceful ranch getaway close to Wimberley, San Marcos, San Antonio, and Austin. The 815 sqft includes living room, dining area, and kitchenette. Each bedroom has its own AC-Heating control. Water supply is pure, filter rainwater. Come for a quiet weekend away, a new work-from-home location, or a jumping off place for sightseeing with friends.

We offer two beautiful cottages (The Hemingway and The FW) that are located on 50 acres at the end of a dead end road. Surrounded by thousands of privately owned acreage, featuring abundant wildlife (deer, turkey, birdwatchers paradise). This is a working cattle ranch so you can take in sunsets as cattle graze in front of you. Cottages are newly built and fully furnished. Lofts for reading, custom tile showers, outdoor fire pits and lounge area. Cottages are located away from main house.
