Exotic getaway in Sobrante hills

This is Mongolian traditional yurt when we married 40 years ago, our parents built it for us. It is located in our backyard about 90 feet from the street on the deck under pine trees. Path to the yurt has 12 steps and 15 degree up on some part of the deck. We have beautifully decorated, half around, eclectic full bathroom outside the yurt just 2 steps away. Yurt has low front door and low beds and seats. No tv, no wifi. It is out of your comfort zone! No human contact, self check in.

This unique accommodation provides you with everything you need for a "glamping" experience. Each yurt includes a picnic table, patio, and fire ring perfect for some late night marshmallow roasting. NO BATHROOMS IN YURT. Each yurt is located within walking distance to bathrooms and showers. The 20' yurt can sleep up to 5 people.

If you are looking for a peaceful zen retreat you are welcome to reserve my yurt. I live in the main house so I've chosen to just host women. The yurt is suitable for one person. We are near Tilden Park located North Berkeley Hills, 7 mins drive to UC Berkeley, and Bart to SF. Check in is after 4PM.
