El Nido—a Magnificent Victorian Home

Architectural elements like the wooden beams and whimsical shapes of the rooms inspired a Cuban approach to integrate traditional styles into the modern updates. Notice the Spanish-Moorish tiles, the charming skylights, and artisanal decor items. It's a very special home. You will feel like you are staying in a luxury spa. Every detail has been meticulously thought out; from the hangers in the bathroom to every appliance, every picture on the walls and the selection of Spanish-moorish tiles both in the bathroom and kitchen. It doesn't matter if you are staying for 3 days, for a week or for longer. The place has been purposely designed for your thorough enjoyment and extreme comfort. You have a full walking closet with capacity to hang as much clouding as you can carry and as many as 40 pairs of shoes. Of course you have top quality linens and towels as well as all the essentials for a 5-stars hotel experience. El Nido es the top unit of a former home; there are other 2 units occupied by very decent and quite families, but they have their completely separate entrances, so you will not be sharing common spaces with anyone; in fact, the entire space is at your disposal and at your disposal only, every square foot both of the apartment and of the private deck is entirely and exclusively for your use. My partner and I are avid travelers; we are AirBnB users as well; hence, we appreciate the availability of hosts as they are locals with ample knowledge of the amenities and less obvious gems of their cities. We want to let you know that we will be happy to be available as a friendly and willing source not only of problem solving, but also of information and guidance. How much interaction is for your to freely decide. Voted one of the 10 most interesting cities in the US by The Traveler magazine, Oakland is a growing area that has a wonderful selection of unique restaurants, shops, and bars. Take in the harbor views nearby and spend a fun day out on Lake Merritt. Lake Merritt Bart Station to San Francisco: Bart takes you to San Francisco (Only 2 short stops, an about 7-minutes ride, and you are in Embarcadero, the very epicenter of “the City”). It also takes you to and from both San Francisco International and Oakland International airports. While this station is only 1.2 away from the apartment, it is a good 25 minutes-walk. It is a lot easier and comfortable if you take Uber or Lift. For those of you more intrepid, there are also bikes or even those city-scooters that people leave anywhere. A major bus line runs down the Lake on Foothill Boulevard (which you catch at the intersection of 7th Ave @ Foothill, only 800 feet away). The same line brings you back one intersection over (@ E 14th). Both streets are one way, so the nearest goes down the Lake and the subsequent brings you back. Nevertheless, as we said earlier, Taxis and app-based ride services like Uber and Lyft work quite efficiently and inexpensively in our area. There is a shared wall with the owners residence but the entire yard and front house are for guest use. Three blocks from Cal Poly. 0.5 miles from trolly to downtown. Ten minute bike ride to Higuera Street. Hiking, trail running, mountain biking and road cycling out the front door! Athletes, professors, professionals and individuals who enjoy four star hotel properties! Guests have full use of the front patio, private courtyard and access to the back yard. There is one in street parking permit for guest use and off street parking for one mid sized car off the drive way. Owners travel regularly and if our of town have a local manager and handyman who can assist with any issues. This is a quiet neighbourhood, primarily made up of college professors, professionals, students, and retirees, a few blocks from Cal Poly. The house is on a low-traffic street, with parks plus hiking and biking trails nearby. Restaurants and stores are within easy walking distance. Morro Bay, Montaña de Oro State Park, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, hiking and mountain bike trails, and 240 wineries are within 30 minutes drive. There is parking available for two cars, one (mid-size or smaller) off street and one on street parking permit. Free weekend street parking for any number of vehicles (10:00 pm Friday - 2:00 am Monday.) The house is not set up for children as there are breakable art pieces within reach and no safety devices on cupboards. Chemicals and pest deterrents are in unsecured cupboards. One off street parking space for a mid sized car is provided on the paved area off the driveway. One on street is provided with a guest permit. Beautiful Luxury Victorian near San Francisco, Beach, Oak

Bring the past back to life in this updated historical residence. The house features original architecture details, a neutral color scheme, contemporary and antique furnishings, contrasting textures and patterns, and an outdoor dining area. Parties are not allowed. This is a beautiful Victorian house built in 1908, with delightful vintage details throughout, and recently luxurious upgrades from top to bottom. It is decorated with French Country theme. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and welcoming. House is equipped with high speed internet (free wifi), flat screen TV, and wash/dryer. Guests will have access to the entire house and the garden. I am a very easy going person. Every guest will be respected and be cared for during their stay. Absolutely no problem if you break a dish, a glass, or accidentally scratch a table or spill something on the carpet. Things are meant to be used and guests should live freely during their visit. I live in Santa Clara, 45mins south of Alameda. Not onsite most days, but always available by phone or text, and will give guests immediate attention. My kind neighbors Dean and Stacy offered to help in emergency situations. My grown up son, Sean (25), lives half miles away from the Airbnb is able to help as well. The home is in a charming neighborhood where people are very friendly and welcoming. It is walking distance to Webster Street, filled with restaurant and shops, and a few minutes walk to the Crown Beach with miles of trails and stunning views. The Victorian house is convenient and central located, walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, 7 miles to Oakland International airport, 4 miles to Coliseum, Oracle Arena. Going to San Francisco, 12 miles by land, you have the options of taking the ferries, Bart (Lake Merritt Station) and bus AC Transit Route O (Santa Clara/9th bus stop, a few minutes walk) https://sfbaytransit.org/actransit/route/O Party is not allowed and quiet time is 9:30pm.

Begin a relaxing morning out on the porch, then head to the local international market and delis. This fully-equipped suite features a comfy 4-poster bed, kitchenette, and charming dining area. It's all the comforts of home with a 20th-century vibe. Annie’s Cottage offers charming accommodations within walking distance of Fisherman’s Wharf, Union Square, China Town, North Beach and other San Francisco favorites. Our unique San Francisco lodging on Russian Hill is convenient to many interesting shops and boutiques nearby. The historic San Francisco cable car system is only a short 1/2 block away. The accommodation is very private with a separate entrance and private deck. Since we are behind another building there is very little street noise. It is like being in the country in the middle of San Francisco. There is a queen bed and also a sofa bed but it is an additional cost. Three people, 2 beds add $15 per night, two people 2 beds add $7.50 per night. I live on the property so I am usually available by phone or text. At this time there is no personal interaction The home is located in an eclectic neighborhood with residents of all ages. It is 1/2 block to the cable car and 2.5 blocks from the popular Polk Street, which offers an array of ethnic restaurants and shops. It is within walking distance to North Beach and China Town. The vibrant Financial District is also close by. The cable car line, going to Fishermans Wharf and Union Square is 1/2 block away, Buses going all directions are 2 1/2 blocks away.
