Grandma Ruby's Vintage Victorian Downstairs Suite

This historic home built in 1884 has been completely renovated with loving care by a granddaughter with fond memories of magical times at her grandparents' unique home. With ten foot ceilings and beautiful craftsmanship, this spacious downstairs unit provides a master suite with a king sized bed and a big screen TV, a large kitchen, a queen bedroom, access to a large private back yard and plenty of parking. All conveniently located to town attractions and just 5 minutes from the interstate.

Oakbrook Akers Lakeside Cabin Retreat

Located in the heart of the country, Oakbrook Akers Cabin is an absolute retreat! Relax on the many porches overlooking the pond, take time to meander to the docks to fish, enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or spend the evening at the grilling station in our covered patio. In the winter, tuck yourself away in the cozy cabin complete with a wood burner, having a movie or game night (with popcorn of course)! Built by my father, we hope you cherish your time spent here just as our family has.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located 1890's farmhouse that has been completely transformed with all of the amenities you want and need. This convenient first floor apartment is located right across from one of Quincy's most iconic and favorite restaurant's, The Abbey! A fabulous space that features keyless entry, beautiful kitchen with quartz counter tops and stainless steel appliances, a wonderful onyx shower and comfortable beds with high end furnishings and lots of extras.

Emma's Cottage, Private and Uplifting

Emma’s Cottage is close to great views, family-friendly activities, Nauvoo sites and the Historic Nauvoo Temple. You’ll love it because of the comfy bed, the coziness, the river views, privacy, peacefulness and close to everything.. It is good for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The cottage was build around the 1940’s . If you enjoy privacy in an authentic environment then you’ll love it. There is a dock on my property, but it is private and not for guest use.

Tree of Life River Retreat

Located 1½ miles north of Keokuk, nestled on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, the Tree of Life River retreat is located in a cozy, private, walk-out lower level (with hosts living above). There's a private bedroom with a queen bed and another sleeping area with four twin beds, perfect for one person or a family. Relax, enjoy nature, and take advantage of our large backyard. We are located approximately 18 miles from downtown Nauvoo via the bridge in Keokuk.

Nauvoo with a country view

We welcome guests to our 1880 Sonora Town Hall Cottage. This building once served as a voting poll for the Sonora Township. It is now a beautiful boutique cottage for overnight guests staying in the Nauvoo area. We are located on a working grain farm 6 miles southeast of Nauvoo. PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING or VAPING on the premises. We do have security cameras outside of the town hall building, which provide security and lighting for all guests.

This is an upstairs unit with one bedroom with a queen bed, TV and couch. Sunroom with a desk to work from and 3 twin beds for additional sleeping. Spacious kitchen with eat-in bar. There is off street parking and shared laundry in the basement. You will be close to the Carthage square, Historic Carthage Jail, restaurants and the grocery store. You are a short drive from Nauvoo, Keokuk, Macomb and Quincy.

Nauvoo's Old Stone Church

Known as "The Old Stone Church," "The Legion Hall," "The Temple Stone Church," or "The Old Methodist Church," this building has a remarkable story to tell. Every group who has been in what is now Nauvoo, has played a part in its history. ​ It has now been thoroughly renovated, and serves as an elegant vacation home for those visiting Nauvoo, and looking for an historic experience, with all the modern luxuries.

Beautiful Riverview Studio- steps away from Depot

Enjoy an exclusive view of the River, the FM Train Depot and Old Fort Madison from this 2nd floor true-studio apt. The space has modern décor and all of the comforts of home. Railfans will enjoy the trains and river fans will enjoy the unique east-west river movement. There will be train sounds! The space comfortably sleeps two adults in its queen size Murphy bed.
