Keogh's Country Retreat

Our home is nestled on 18 acres of idyllic countryside, which not only boasts access to a private lake with runner boards you can fish from but its green fields roll down to the banks of the Shannon River Navigation. By DAY you can take a stroll, watch calves frolic, swans busy with their signets, darting dragonflies and watch as the cruisers sail past. By NIGHT you can sip a glass and watch the fabulous sunsets, have a BBQ or toast marshmallows over a pot bellied fire under a blanket of stars.

This lovely new holiday home is in Ballintogher village about 250 yards from the local shop, 2 pubs, church and childrens playground. Ballintogher is an excellent base for cyclists, walkers, surfers & SUP to explore nearby lakes or Strandhill. We are only 5 minutes drive away from Castle Dargan hotel and therefore a popular base for people attending weddings, playing golf or enjoying the spa facilities there. It has beautiful views over the river Shannon and there are nice areas outside to relax by the river. Lanesborough has good restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. The apartment is 10 minutes from Roscommon town and is close to golf courses and many other amenities. You can hire boats/kayaks and and the apartment has a mooring for a boat.
