Pop’s Country Cabin is a small remote cabin that sits 1/2mile off the road above a 5 acre lake on 77 acres of private land. The view from the front porch is amazing! You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

The kitchen is fully furnished with cooking utensils, clean towels, pots and pans for those who prefer eating in. Please no animals and no smoking in the apartment.

Charming 1940s farmhouse. Updated 1 1/2 story house in a rural setting overlooking the Mighty Mississippi River, but close to the heart of Cape Girardeau. Our house has lots of room to relax with a large kitchen and sunroom. You can sit by a cozy fire pit and enjoy chilly evenings watching the beautiful sunsets. We look forward to you spending time in our neck of the woods (so to speak). We are located with in seven miles from the Isle casino, SEMO state university and a happening down town.

Historical Kage House

The Building is reminiscent of eighteenth-century New Orleans architecture, and was built sometime before 1883. The Kage House is located at 120 Broadway in the historical district and is less than a minutes walk to Main Street and less than a 10 minutes walk to the Isle of Capri Casino. On Main Street you will find many fine shops and restaurants, or just enjoy the scenic area as you walkabout. This is by far one of the best places in Cape. Plus we just live across the street if you need anything.
