Situated on on 2 large lots w/private beach & expansive views of Lake Wabasis in front, as well as private pond out back filled year-round w/wildlife. Lake Wabasis is approximately 2 miles long (Kent County's biggest) w/418 acres of primarily undeveloped, protected wetlands. It's an all-sports lake w/excellent fishing year-round.

The cottage can be enjoyed throughout all of the seasons of Michigan. As fall approaches, note the state hunting land is just a 100 yard walk. The interior is a blend of rustic cozy meets modern touches. This is a home and not a hotel so you will find quirks that belong to any individual home.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.

The covered deck and hot tub provide direct, protected access to the lakeside dock, equipped with kayaks and a paddle boat. It has 66' of private shoreline; an elevated front deck plus side patio; and stone bonfire pit & gas BBQ grill. Guests also get FREE & exclusive use of pontoon boat, 2 kayaks and paddle boat, plus private dock (early May through late October, weather permitting). Swan Cottage is very dog-welcoming. The yard is not fenced, however we provide ground stakes & cable ties.
