We warmly welcome you to stay in Bluebell, at the Old Railway Station, in a beautiful part of Northumberland, nestled between the coast and the hills. We provide some 'goodies', including locally made biscuits, milk, tea & coffee, to assist self-catering, as well as fresh eggs from our happy hens! The highly acclaimed Running Fox cafe & The Plough Inn are just a 5 minute drive away, in Powburn, plus a well stocked shop. There are plenty other places to eat in Alnwick and the surrounding area.

Stand alone, wild, off-grid woodland pod

300 yards walk across the fields and over 2 stiles, from the car parking area, totally off-grid camping pod, with solar panel for lighting and USB phone charging, a composting loo and gas shower. Situated in a stunning bluebell wood, with breathtaking views of Cheviot, Simonside and the Coquet Valley. The Pod stands alone, with just the abundant wildlife to share the woods with. The pod is very basic with no heating, a 2-ring gas hob and small sink, and a fire pit area with fallen wood for fuel.

Large off road parking area with wide double gate access, car essential to enjoy this stunning area. NEW for 2025 Outdoor summerhouse Kitchen/Dining/ Music /Aga Heated space for larger groups and longer stays who wish to self cater. This is an optional extra £20 per night if required bookable and payable to host on arrival

Our Pod overlooks the hilltop Farm Steading of Overthwarts, giving panoramic views of the countryside. With your own private gated entrance, you can come and go as you please or enjoy the views from the comfort of the wood fired Kirami hot tub.
