The Understory: Cabin with Outdoor Tub and Sauna

Welcome to The Understory. Nestled deep in the rhododendron covered woods, this romantic hand-crafted tiny home offers you a peaceful and memorable stay just 15 minutes from both Asheville and Black Mountain. The comfortable living space includes a rain shower, king sized bed in a lofted sleeping area, cozy wood stove and a full kitchen. Surrounding the cabin is a large deck with a table and chairs, a luxurious soaking bathtub, and a patio equipped with a fire pit and propane grill.

Cabin #28 at Firelight at Shope Creek sits on 22 acres of wooded creek side property in the beautiful Shope Creek area of east Asheville, NC. This rustic, modern home shares the property with 7 other small cabins in the valley below. Newly updated in 2023 with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a new hot tub. A perfect getaway!! Cozy up in our newly renovated 1940’s creek side cabin. The back yard over looks Pisgah National Forest! Hike from the neighborhood trail into Pisgah, or drive 4 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Take a hot bath in our outdoor clawfoot tub and enjoy the sounds of the rushing creek. Try out the sauna and cold plunge in the creek! Just a 25 minute easy drive to Asheville. Rustic esthetic with modern amenities like Wifi and air conditioning! Pet friendly.

This unique place has a style all its own. Welcome to the StAy FrAme, a brand new home that is centrally located between Asheville and Black Mountain! Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a full kitchen. Catch the sunset from the hot tub or relax in the barrel sauna after a long hike! Enjoy cool mountain evenings in front of the gas fireplace or the solo stove on the patio! There is also a fenced yard for your furry friends-dogs only please ($75 pet fee)

Weaverville downtown with restaurants, brewery, bakery, local art shops, and Yoga studio is just 10 minutes of walk. Well behaved pets are always welcomed.
