Bellevue is a contemporary rustic house situated on the edge of the Knysna Lagoon in Old Belvidere. The house combines a passion for architecture and eclectic design with a tranquil setting and spectacular views. We implore to our guests to keep it tranquil and peaceful. Luna is the main 4 bedroom house with its own private living area, dining area and kitchen. On the second floor is a self catering apartment which might be occupied by other guests. Safe swimming, surfing and body boarding, as well as kayak and SUP, sundowners on the rocks or walks along the vast sandy beach. This small coastal town can offer it all. Loadshedding: We have an invertor, so you will have some plugs (wifi and TV) and all lights operational during loadshedding.

It overlooks the bay towards Brenton on Sea, is 3 minutes walk from the Blue Flag beach, and 15 meters away from the water’s edge. The house was originally built in 1958. In 2019 it was enlarged and fully revamped to celebrate its olden day charm and sophistication. It has a sparkly clean, beach feel – set in the nostalgia of a 1950’s seaside holiday.

Surrounded by fynbos bush and the sound of birds, you will have a unique nature experience and wake up to the INCREDIBLE views of the majestic Outeniqua mountain range shining in front of you! We are a simple, off the grid set up so do not expect luxury but rather the simple pleasures and nature in all its glory. Our property is a work in progress. We dream of creating a sustainable space by restoring our land and respecting nature in the process.

Goose cottage, situated in a fynbos estate.

Self catering, fully equipped large cottage with top end appliances and luxury bathroom. Very private, with gorgeous views of the Knysna lagoon. Guests will enjoy sleeping on beautiful queen slay bed with Egyptian cotton bedding, and a single bed. Kitchen has gas hob and microwave. Lots of private parking and close to town and eating spots. Camp cot available. Goose cottage is off the grid, so during loadshedding we are fully functional.

Cliff Top Houses are situated in a protected nature reserve perched high on the cliffs and surrounded by forest, fynbos and ocean. These secret hideaways are for those seeking peace, tranquility and that special magic. “The Bee’s Knees” is our spectacular newest secret escape sleeping 4 adults. Situated directly on the cliff edge, enjoy magnificent ocean views, waves crashing on the rocks below and whales so close you can touch them.

We have an alternative power source, so no more loadshedding during your stay!
