Southbourne Beach Lodge: open July and August only

Imagine a beach hut, only 4x bigger and given a contemporary Scandi makeover. Welcome to the Southbourne Beach Lodge. A compact studio chalet, 3mins walk from the beach. Sleeps 4 in two king beds: one on the ground floor and the second in a mezzanine. Ideal for a couple or small family who love the beach and/or walking. Own entrance, free street parking in cul de sac, 50 metres from the front door. 4miles from Bournemouth; 2 from Christchurch; 1 from Hengistbury Head. No pets. No under 5s.

Lots of wildlife including deer and the resident tawny owl. Under 10 minutes drive to 7 miles of golden Sandy beaches. 10 minute drive to New Forest. Lots of local bars and restaurants all walking distance away. Table tennis table, wood fired pizza oven and gas BBQ! Tree house for the children to use! Big rope swing at the bottom of the garden 😀

Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove. Family/Dog friendly.

Our holiday home is located in Durdle Door Holiday Park near the famous stone arch of Durdle Door, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's in a great position, being one of the closest homes to the beach access path, and boasts sea glimpses from the sun deck and living room window. Featuring all mod-cons it is a really comfortable home-from-home. The park is quiet and well-maintained with a shop, restaurant, bar and play-park. Lulworth Cove, along with its pubs and restaurants are a short walk away.

The twelve 5 Star Scandinavian Log Homes at the Dorset Resort are made entirely from trees grown in the Nordic forests of Finland and available to rent from 2 days to 4 weeks. With 3 ensuite bedrooms, a further bathroom and 2 sofa beds the house is equipped to sleep 8 comfortably. Open plan living with fully equipped kitchen, linen and towels included for an easy break. Seascape is a bright, airy lodge tucked away at the edge of Swanage Bay View. Adjoining Townsend Nature Reserve it enjoys utter tranquillity and spectacular views over the bay, as seen on 'A Place in the Sun'. With its tasteful modern furnishings, central heating and double glazing, Seascape is cosy in winter, while in warmer weather, the large deck offers a panoramic view all the way to Corfe Castle. In addition, guests enjoy the amenities of SBV - all within a 15 min walk of the seafront!

Lulworth Hideaway - walk to the Cove & Durdle Door

Tuck yourselves away in this snug, well-equipped chalet nestled in West Lulworth, one of Dorset's most beloved coastal villages. Designed perfectly for two, it has everything you need: your own private entrance and a secluded outdoor seating area with views across the Purbeck Hills. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are just a short walk away, and a local pub is practically on your doorstep — ideal for a pint after a day on the Jurassic Coast. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome.

The Potting Shed Sopley

The Potting Shed is a unique detached cottage on the edge of the New Forest and South Coast. It sleeps two people and has a well-planned principal room incorporating kitchen/dining and living area with a log burner. Upstairs is a spacious loft, ideal for relaxing or being more creative with some artwork. Outdoors there is a large garden, terrace with a BBQ area and chiminea. There is a bike shed too (please bring your own bikes). Guests will have the place to themselves.

The Shed is named somewhat tongue in cheek by the owners' family as it is about as far from a shed as you can get. Whether sitting out on the decking with its clear view glass balustrade or in the comfort of the lounge you have stunning views across Avon Beach and the Solent to the Isle of Wight and The Needles; there is always something to watch at any time of year. When you talk about a property one of the most important factors is location.
