The Kennels

Kick off your walking boots, wash down your bike or just park up the car, this freshly converted kennels is the place to relax for a few days. Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Study Farm Cottage - Sleeps 2 - Scenic location

The cottage which dates from 1845, is situated in Bonsall village, high above the wooded 'Via Gellia' gorge. Matlock Bath is 2 miles by car or a scenic walk through woodland. Superb walks from the door to the limestone moors above. Within easy driving distance of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Arkrights Mills. Crich Tramway Museum and Carsington Water. Bonsall has two pubs and a Tea Room a few minutes walk from the property. Bonsall Carnival week starts on the last Saturday of July every year.

This unique self contained peaceful cottage is 250 years old and set in the centre of the beautiful village of Bonsall in the Peak District and within easy reach of all amenities. The cottage was once a Pigeon loft and has been transformed and renovated into a simple characterful living space within the conservation area. Hillside overlooks the village of Bonsall (near Matlock) offering beautiful views from the windows and private patio of the village and surrounding countryside. Bonsall offers excellent pubs and cafe. There are numerous walks from the doorstep - the Limestone Way passes through the village. Chatsworth, Bakewell, Dove Dale and the Monsal Trails are all a short drive away.

Once a 17th Century Colour Mill in the heart of the Peak District, this self contained traditional limestone cottage in Bonsall Village is a peaceful retreat that’s in walking distance to the Country Inns and walks across Bonsall Moor. With Peak District attractions and sites on your door step a whole host of adventures await for those that love walking and exploring local areas including Cromford Village, Matlock, Bakewell and Chatsworth and even Belper, Buxton and Hartington.
