Recently built -welcoming village escape

Hillside is a newly built limestone self contained holiday let, on the edge of a pretty Derbyshire village. Hillside overlooks the village of Bonsall (near Matlock) offering beautiful views from the windows and private patio of the village and surrounding countryside. Bonsall offers 2 excellent pubs, cafe and village shop. There are numerous walks from the doorstep - the Limestone Way passes through the village. Chatsworth, Bakewell, Dove Dale and the Monsal Trails are all a short drive away.

A large, light & airy open plan barn conversion set in the grounds of Old Masson Farm. High ceilings, exposed beams ,wood burning stove, king sized bed & views to die for. Double doors lead onto private stone flagged terrace with tables, chairs, BBQ & use of garden. A truly peaceful location to sit back & relax after exploring the wonderful Peak District & all it has to offer. Stunning sunsets, walks, bike rides & wild swimming straight from the door. The cottage which dates from 1845, is situated in Bonsall village, high above the wooded 'Via Gellia' gorge. Matlock Bath is 2 miles by car or a scenic walk through woodland. Superb walks from the door to the limestone moors above. Within easy driving distance of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Arkrights Mills. Crich Tramway Museum and Carsington Water. Bonsall has two pubs a Tea Room and small shop and deli a few minutes walk from the property. BONSALL OPEN GARDENS IS ON 1st JUNE 2024

Spinney Farm cottage is set in an idyllic rural location on a quiet country lane overlooking the village of Bonsall. Footpaths on your doorstep lead you into the beautiful countryside. Spinney Farm is the home to a herd of alpacas which you are welcome to visit and you may also see the dairy cows from Puddle Hill farm in the nearby fields. Spinney Farm cottage is set in a dry stone wall enclosure therefore a safe and secure place for children to play and for you to sit and relax.

Our comfortable first floor self catering holiday apartment, Cobbles, is to the rear of the original main house. The apartment has a spacious king size double bedroom and twin room, and an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, each with flat screen TV. The village has 2 beautiful local pubs, village shop and a tea rooms serving freshly made produce. Also, with the Peak District on your doorstep there are walks and plenty of activities to occupy yourselves with.

Perfect Peak District Stone Cottage Retreat

Matchbox Cottage is an idyllic retreat to the South East of the Peak District, perfect for up to 4 people. We have some of the best walks in England right on our doorstep. Dog friendly, one small or medium dog welcome. Situated only a 4 minute downhill walk to the centre of the historic, picturesque village of Wirksworth. Pubs, restaurants, cinema and shops are all close by. Our cottage has been lovingly restored and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
