Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

A delightful cottage set below the Blorenge mountain in the historic village of Llanfoist. The Counting House offers character with modern facilities fully renovated in 2020. Conveniently located just a 5 minute walk to both the picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon canal and the Abergavenny-Brynmawr cycle track and is a great base for hill walking in the Black Mountains and the local Abergavenny 3 peaks. Perfect for couples; friendly pub; great walks

Welcome to The Potting Shed! A cosy couples retreat, renovated to a very high standard, with many funky features and fantastic attention to detail. Just a stroll away from our friendly, foodie village pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. It’s a special place, nestled in its own little corner of my garden, with an emphasis on luxury and lovely things. Pontysgob Cottage

A beautiful grade II listed cottage with original features in the Brecon Beacons National Park. It sleeps 4 with two bedrooms and a shared Jack and Jill bathroom complete with complimentary Bramley products. Family and pet friendly, enjoy the incredible walking, tourist and dining scene close by with multiple Michelin stared restaurants and historical sights near by. This cottage comes with a wood fired hot tub and a private stretch of river with fishing rights.

Village centre cottage step back in time

Hidden down a cobbled lane, this 18th century workers cottage has oodles of charm. An open fireplace, oak beams and traditional furniture allows you to step back in time and really relax. But there is still the benefit of modern life; wifi and a power shower! There are so many walks in the area: The Brecon canal, river Usk and Crickhowell are all close. Crickhowell has a selection of independent shops, pubs and cafes. Walking guides and maps are provided.

Large Cottage, super private, great views + Hottub

The former Servants Qtrs (Ty Gwas) & Dairy for Glanbaiden House, Pear Cottage underwent a full restoration in 2021 and offers a large double bedroom with ensuite. Although a large 4 bedroom cottage this listing is for a discounted stay as guests can simply book the ground floor. Seconds off the a465 it’s 2 mins from Abergavenny & 10 mins from Crickhowell. Enjoying the views over the sugarloaf or spend the day wandering the canals and local footpaths.
