Astitva Resort inside Bir Forest

Travel : Mar '23 Stay is very good. You get cabins with one big bed and one small bed, with an attached bathroom as well. Nearest shops are around 1-1.5kms away, so you need to walk that distance. Stay is fully surrounded by forest trees and we were able to see snow peaked mountains as well. We also got bonfire at night. The food cooked was very tasty, especially the homestyle chicken. We got a big spider in our cabin as well as the bathroom was not clean. So, on informing them, they changed the cabin as well. ♥️ Cons : We felt the bedsheets were not clean enough.

Zostel Plus Bir | Superior Deluxe Room

We stayed in Zostel Plus in Bir for a night and loved the short stay. We took a private room. This was our first experience in Zostel and we loved its peppy and youthful vibes. The room was compact, comfortable and practical. It's common room was lively and had space to relax, converse, play or work. The front space of the Zostel had a few hammocks and lot of space to bond and enjoy. The cafeteria has ample options to dine and talk. The front desk helped us with some important information. Overall, I quite liked the Zostel. It's perfect for young travellers, solo or in groups, to stay and work from Zostel, meet like-minded travel lovers.

Amazing hosts. Hospitality at its best. Couldn't expect anything more from these guys. They were so helpful and generous. The rooms were spacious. The garden outside the house gives it a wonderful look. They even helped us with the local sights and paragliding. I strongly recommend them for your trip to BIR.

We booked this place at the last moment but despite of that, Ankita, the host, had everything ready for us by the time we reached there. She was responsive to all our queries and was quite cool as well. We were famished and my God, the food was amazing! Simple ghar ka khana but delicious! I would like to specially mention that I had the best chai of my life here! The cook is amazing! Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I hope to go back soon.

One of the best place to stay in Barot. Munish made our stay absolutely comfortable. We went there for some video shoots because of the location and Munish helped us with that as well. He is an excellent cook and the food was yummy and fresh. Will Definitely visit this place again

amazing place...hotel window view directly points to "bir" the starting point of paragliding... eat food outside... bring your own booz or buy local wine... paragliding reduced to charge 1600 per person(Talk to Lakhan ..shop outside the hotel entrance)

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Vikas Bro & his wonderful family truly make you feel like one of their own. Atithi isn’t just a stay, it’s an experience wrapped in warmth, love, & genuine hospitality. The peace this place offers is unmatched, and the home-cooked meals from their kitchen? Pure soul food. I keep coming back, not just for the comfort but for the emotional connect this place builds. It’s my go-to sanctuary in Bir. If you're looking for authenticity, serenity, & kindness, this is the #1 place to stay. Pro Tip: VK bro is always available (5ish in the morning as well) to bail you out if the neighborhood noise/snores are hampering your peace 😁 Thank you, Vikas Bro, Indu Bhabhi & Family, for making Atithi feel like home & beyond.

It’s a wonderful property at very reasonable price. It has a beautiful balcony with a river and Mountain View and u can listen water flowing sounds. It has a nice restaurant as well, morethan anything the boys are always supportive irrespective of the time, especially Thamang. Thanks a lot for all your support.

The hotel is fantastic and it is a real treat to stay here for families and couples. Rooms are big and very very clean and well maintained. The staff are as good or better than a 5 star hotel. The food is delicious and fresh. You would be missing out if you don't stay here. Pawan the manager and his team including Banty, Raju and all the ladies thank you. You are amazing. Well done! Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay at Meditative Meadows. Our host, Ramnik Narula, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, providing us with delicious home cooked meals and warm hospitality throughout our stay. The surrounding area had plenty to do as well - we enjoyed walks and treks along the majestic & astonishingly beautiful views of Dhauladar ranges. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that we highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Dharamshala! Our stay truly felt like we had a home away from home. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in beautiful Dharamshala then look no further than Meditative Meadows - it's definitely worth a visit!

Neel here and we stayed for 2nights and was really an amazing experience would love to visit again specially in Autumn and spring The place was really clean and scenic and the staff was very helpful and cheerful and always had a smile Our host was really helpful and very cooperative and shared her experiences In all sayings we found our peace what we were looking for and enjoyed all parts of our stay at this property Thankyou for these amazing memories and looking forward to come again
