We are located 10 easy miles from Ithaca NY in the beautiful Finger lakes region! we are less than 1/2 day trips from NYC, NJ, PA, Rochester and Buffalo. We have consistently been Airbnb super host for 6 years! We have seasonal glamps and cabins, but are now offering our favorite little hideaway year round! Enjoy the gentle peaceful flow of life just breathing the sweet air here at Scottland Yard Farm.

Finch House & Garden, Richford, Finger Lakes

Beautiful spacious home from the 1860s and perennial garden. Plenty of amenities, and a creek, field, and forest. Close to Ithaca, Cortland, Owego, and Greek Peak. Our back yard connects with over 100 acres of woods with wildlife, views, hiking trails and adjacent Finger Lakes Land Trust preserve. You’ll love the charming rooms, high ceilings, beautiful yard and outdoor spaces. Our house is good for couples, families (with kids), and groups. We recently added a piano and fenced dog yard.

Log Cabin in the Country

Outdoor space with hot tub and un heated pool. All of all 3 upstairs bedrooms ( 1 queen bed, 1 with a bunk + 1 double bed, and 1 loft room with queen ), 2 full baths one with washer and dryer, kitchen & living room spaces. You are the only reservation in the home. Lots of hiking and quiet space, yet close to the village (10 min.) and the city of Oneonta (30 min.) or Cooperstown (45-60min). Play or rest.The hosts may be in residence however the owners presence is negotiable on request.

Private Cabin and Pond Property

Enjoy our secluded cabin, pond, and picnic area with many acres to roam. Rest comes easy with the privacy and peaceful woodlands that is the setting of our family's newly refurbished vacation space. Up to two Cots available upon request (must bring your own bedding.) Comfortable space for up to 4 guests. Our cozy cabin is the perfect chance to unplug from the busyness of life, equipped with WiFi but very sparse cell reception. WiFi calling feature can be used for important connections.

I love my property for the year-round views! In yard access to river which is directly across from Hiawatha Island, a natural preserve owned by Waterman conservation. Island is open to the public for birdwatching (Bald Eagels) and hikers. I have kayaks and canoes you might want to use while here. River is active with fisherpersons!
