Route 66 Railroad Shanty, a cozy artsy small space

This 536 s.f. house, believed to have once been a sleeping shanty for railroad crews switching shifts for the night. Fully renovated and updated in 2021 by a local artist, you will find custom metal art throughout, granite countertops and a very warm cabin feel featuring a kitchen and bathroom finished with locally sourced Missouri dark red cedar, 10 minutes from six flags, Purina farms 15 min from hidden valley and 45 min from downtown this place is in a great location and will not disappoint!

Sunny South City Guest House

Newly-rehabbed & cozy guest house. Everything you need is located here in the historic Bevo Mill neighborhood. In the heart of south St. Louis city, you’re steps away from local businesses, including the picturesque, historical Das Bevo. Step into a vintage-styled oasis, featuring large windows with plenty of natural light, tall vaulted ceilings, comfy queen bed, unique fridge, breakfast bar, sizable bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Log Cabin at Meramec Farm

A warm, pine honeymoon cabin surrounded by pastoral Ozark countryside. The Meramec River flows through this seventh generation family farm. Cozy interior includes a kitchenette, dining area, and double bed on main level. All your cooking intensils are provided with coffee, tea, and paper products. DVDs and books available await you up the spiral staircase in the loft. Full bed on main level and two singles bed upstairs. Expansive view from your front porch of the highest bluffs on the Meramec.

Catch The Dream:; An Immersive Equestrian Escape

Welcome to the most serene and immersive equine retreat in the area! We are so happy you decided to stay with us. We want you to feel relaxed and at home as you enjoy the equine activities as well as the cozy log cabin and all its features and amenities! Enjoy views of the lush property and relax as you watch the horses graze and roam. We offer customized horsemanship opportunities that accommodate each person's level of comfort and ability. Cost: $75 for two hours, maximum of two lessons/day

Hand Built Log Cabin

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

Additionally, Bonne Terre Mines are conveniently located just 16 minutes away, making it a perfect spot to stay while exploring the area.

The Den at Dittmer Hollow

Newly Updated** Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature, with a semi-primitive, modern cozy secluded treehouse in the woods! Explore 10 acres or wind down on the deck before relaxing in the *NEW* hot tub. The cabin inside has a very minimalistic design featuring on the first floor an electric fireplace, air conditioner, table, refrigerator, leather futon couch, kitchenette with a hand crank water pump sink, axe throwing and porta-potty bathroom.

There are many great hiking opportunities within a short drive, however, once you get settled in you may not find a reason to leave.
