Stay in a new loft studio in a restored 19th-century carriage house behind our home. The property is fully fenced, gated, quiet, and ideal for solo travelers and couples seeking comfort and security. We are downtown, at the River Walk, and close to the Convention Center and Alamodome, yet tucked in an historic, peaceful residential area, King William. Walk to restaurants, groceries, and The Alamo, and visit the nearby missions, or 100+ miles of hike/bike trails. Free EV charger/no cleaning fee!

As you pass from the outside deck into the Cottage's living room you will pass from the 21st century, back in time to a more leisurely mid-20th century Cottage. This newly renovated cottage has a kitchen that is built up around original cabinetry; but, has new appliances tastefully incorporated. The hallway leads to the 2 bedrooms with their antique style beds; but , with 12" memory foam mattresses. The bathroom boasts a walk-in glass shower and a sink right out of the 1947 Sears catalog.

Our garage loft is a renovated and refurnished 900sf apartment. Clean, simple spaces and furnishings make for a relaxing getaway. We are in the Monte Vista Historic District, a 1-mile square walkable neighborhood 3 miles north of downtown and a 1.5 miles from the Pearl District. Our main house is a 1914 Prairie Style residence sheltered by the largest oak tree in San Antonio. We are happy to share our back yard, pool pavilion, and pool during our guests' stays.
