From hiking the Mississippi Palisades State park, biking on the Great River Trail, or teeing off at one of many golf courses the Hanover area has no shortage of outdoor adventures right around the corner. There is also a private beach, boat docks & launch all for our guests. Fish from the riverbank & enjoy all the River has to offer! Close to hiking, skiing, casinos & shopping in Galena IL.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. The river is right across the street and so is the walkway the walkway will take you all the way to the other end of town beautiful walk along the river. Richmond‘s café Great place for breakfast. Not suitable for children under 12, we strictly enforce no children and no pets. Outdoor relaxing space, gas grill. Fully stocked cabin, with breakfast items included for you to enjoy at your leisure.

The River Lodge at Wide River Winery is a spacious 3 bedroom house with a spectacular view of the Mississippi River. Guests are invited to the winery to sample our award winning wines, and to select a complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy. There is a Bluff Trail for hiking and guests can tour the vineyard and winery to see where it all happens. Dog are invited to stay, at an additional fee.
