The market towns of Sherborne, Blandford Forum and Dorchester are all within 20 minutes drive.

Off-road footpaths lead to the foot of Hambledon Hill. Plus, you’re close to the trailway for cycling too.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Self contained detached rural studio in the heart of Dorset, with lovely views over open countryside designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty (National Landscapes). Set in 5 acres which includes the main residence of the owner. The accommodation is of modern open plan design, which includes a kitchenette/breakfast area, lounge, and bedroom area with en suite. As we are in the countryside there is no public transport, so a car is essential. EV charging is available (shared).

The Parlour is a 3 double bedroom cottage which is part of Duntish Mill Farm that has recently been lovingly renovated. There is open plan living with vaulted ceilings and a cosy log burner. French doors that lead onto a large private patio area. Located in an AONB of Dorset, we are surrounded by plenty of stunning countryside centrally located between the historic towns of Sherbourne and Dorchester, which is also only a short drive away from the Jurassic Coast.

Cosy thatch cottage - Evergreen Cottage (c. 1780)

Connect to the fire and earth next to a woodburning stove in a cob cottage. Walk in the picturesque village of thirty six almost identical thatched cottages with a wooded valley on the doorstep with St James' Church, Milton Abbey and St Catherine's Chapel. Modern electrics, heating and hot water provide comfort and ease within this traditional period thatch cottage.
