Pour a glass of wine, light a fire, and enjoy the fresh air and surrounding forest setting from total privacy in the cosy living room before retiring to the spacious bedroom. The home is located near Belgrave Township, close to the Puffing Billy railway and just a short drive from the gorgeous towns of Sassafras, Olinda, and Mt. Dandenong. A lovely English-style tavern with live music sits at the end of our quiet street. Killlik Rum distillery is also at the end of the street for food and cocktails. Parking out front on road (cul de sac) Bus stop on corner to access hills towns Belgrave station 10 minutes walk Steps up to the house. Two cats live on property (Buddy & Braveheart) but probably wont impact on guests unless they are cat lovers!

Villa Maria Beaconsfield Circa 1890 This charming old homestead and country chapel, 100 metres from the Old Princess Hwy (train station 15 min walk, Monash Fwy close by) is ideally located on the gateway to Gippsland. This open aired chapel added to the main homestead 100 years ago, is attached to the main house. A beautiful relaxing space, which has its own private entry and is locked separately from the main house. Situated on a rise, in a quiet court with open garden views. Parking available.

Menzies Cottage is an hour east of Melbourne & set high on a mountain-side in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Enjoy views out to the Wellington Road farmlands & Cardinia Reservoir. On a clear day you can see Arthur’s Seat, Port Phillip & Westernport Bays. Visit nearby Puffing Billy Steam Train, go bushwalking, feed the friendly farm animals or settle-in for a lazy afternoon before watching the sun set. The cottage is fully self contained & with your own private entrance, deck & enclosed garden.

Our rustic barn is the perfect place to stay while adventuring through the Mount Dandenong Ranges. After a long day of riding puffing billing or walking the many bush trails you’ll be met with a warm and inviting space that offers a full kitchen, large seating area in front of the fireplace, a large dining area, a deck surrounded by greenery and a characterful bathroom to warm up and refresh. The first bedroom is situated on a mezzanine level with the second small bedroom nestled underneath.
