I had a wonderful overnight stay at Petra's Airbnb, it was lovely and zen. Petra was really friendly and it was great that it dog friendly too, with some nice walks close by. It was clean and cosy, I wish I'd been able to stay for longer.

Lovely location in a tree lined street. Modern stylish and quality furnishing and appliances and well equipped overall. Hepworth Gallery, The Arthouse and Yorkshire Sculpture Park all worth a visit. We felt very comfortable in this spacious light and modern apartment. Roof lights allow amazing views and spectacular sunsets. Also you feel like you are in amongst the trees being at the top of the building. The large entrance hall in the flat is a great place for Qi Gong and Yoga. There is a comfortable work area again with great views.

We spent Christmas at Rodica's place and she made sure that it felt just like home. She managed to decorate for us and the place was spotless. Communication was great and whenever we had an issue or query she was very responsive and went out of her way to accommodate us. We look forward to another stay soon.

Our short stay at Fox Cottage was amazing. The property is beautiful, spotless and comfortable. The views are spectacular! Andrew was a great host, very responsive and helpful and we really appreciated the very kind welcome hamper! Loads to do and see and there were even toys for our young son to play with! We loved it so much we’ve booked for next year!

A really great place to stay whilst doing activities around the Peaks! Parking more limited but we always managed a space with the permit being very handy. Lots of shared space which was great for socialising, D&D, and playing games and having tea together. Plenty of space in the bedrooms too and bathrooms all in a good condition. Ideal location right in the centre of Bakewell for easy access to restaurants, cafes and pubs. Host was always very good at communicating and friendly, offering early check in and late check out which was very kind! Would highly recommend if looking for a Peak District base with friends or family.

A beautiful cottage, with a charming layout, making the most of the fantastic views. We could have sat watching the views for hours and were only sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the terrace! It was well appointed and felt very homely. We loved how convenient it was for walking into Matlock Bath (only 5 minutes) with its fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, amusements and lovely riverside walk and 2 play parks. What a great location for us as a family and it was very handy to be able to leave the car at the house and walk to the cable cars for the Heights of Abraham. We appreciated the milk and tin of chocolate biscuits. One tip for anyone who visits is to park at the top of the house, and not take the car around to the front of the house to save having to reverse up the steep hill as the road at the bottom has now been cordoned off. Lisa was very proactive with communications and even provided milk as we couldn’t get any on route. Beautiful surroundings albeit maybe a little remote for some. Worked well for us as we chose this and only 10 mins to Middlewood Tram P & R

I can’t express how much I loved the experience. The breathtaking views alone were worth the visit, but what truly stole my heart was being able to watch the animals in their natural environment. It was clear that the sanctuary goes above and beyond to ensure the animals are happy and well-cared for it added a real sense of warmth to the stay. The thoughtful touches left by the hosts truly elevated the experience. The fresh bread they provided was absolutely delicious, and the little treats they left made us feel so welcome. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. One of the absolute highlights was the hot tub it was amazing to unwind in while soaking up the serene atmosphere. Waking up to the animals in the morning was such a special, unique experience that I’ll always remember. Without a doubt, I’ll be visiting and staying here again. It’s a gem of a place that I can wholeheartedly recommend!

We had a fantastic time at Clover Cottage. The space was perfect for a short break, with the added luxury of a hot-tub. The host was responsive to our questions and provided a comprehensive ‘check-in’ walkthrough on arrival. Great location too for the peaks.
