Batheaston village has a couple of pubs, shops, eateries etc and is a pleasant 45 minute walk / 10 minute drive from Bath city (or buses every 15 minutes). There are lovely local walks, bike rides and water activities such as SUP. The garden gets a lot of sun and is pleasant to sit out in on a summers evening.
