Extraordinary East Austin Retreat with Sauna and Cold Plunge

Discover a private sanctuary in this classic east Austin artist's retreat. Wake up to peace and tranquility amid wood finishes in a space with a soaring custom cathedral ceiling, an upper level loft, a deck walkout, and a cozy outdoor swing bench. Energize for the day with a dip in the cold plunge and unravel for the night in the infrared sauna. We have an enhanced cleaning policy to ensure guest safety and peace of mind in the midst of uncertain times that includes: A top notch HEPA filter, spraying or wiping disinfectant on all surfaces and washing laundry with hot water and bleach. This is an eclectic and imaginative one bedroom cottage sanctuary with a front porch swing for watching east Austin mosey on by. Joyous comfort is to be had in the main bedroom with custom cathedral ceiling and tempurpedic bed. The bathroom features a walk in shower with custom tile and a clawfoot tub for all of your bathing dreams. There is an additional sleeping loft should you have a friend or two who would like to accompany you. City of Austin Operating License # 096563 This lot features a front house (all yours) and a back house that we stay at when we are in Austin. Please make yourself at home on the front and side porches but we ask that you give some privacy to the back yard immediately surrounding the back house. Thank you! I travel often but regularly stay in the back house on the property. I love getting to know guests and if our paths cross I look forward to talking with you. Central East Austin is a diverse and dynamic neighborhood that is just a few minutes from downtown and yet still quiet. In addition to offering of some of Austin's best restaurants and music venues, it also has important history to explore. In the last century, highway 35 was a tool of segregation, with east (of 35) Austin providing a rich community for African Americans. See how this history lives on through a plethora of old and new businesses is this burgeoning neighborhood! There is a parking spot that you are welcome to use directly in front of the house and there is also plenty of street parking with no permitting or street cleaning concerns. The closest B-Cycle station is a 15 minute walk away at Victory Grill on 11th St. Many of the 6th St restaurants and bars are a 10 minute walk as well. If you would prefer not to walk, there are a selection of ride share services such as RideAustin (our favorite), Lyft, or Uber. The street has two names, Hamilton Ave and Richard Overton Ave. Depending on your map source you may see either one pop up. Richard Overton is the oldest living American and American World War II veteran at 112 years of age. He lives down the block where be bought a house after the war ended.

Quiet Austin Retreat near Zilker Park

Unwind amid vintage charm in this updated bungalow. Wake up feeling refreshed in a contemporary home situated in Bouldin Creek featuring unique decor and mid-century furnishings, modern touches, and an eclectic design with pops of color throughout. We take health and wellness very seriously. We have implemented new and more stringent cleaning protocols to ensure our guests have a clean and safe stay. In addition to our comprehensive regular cleaning we have added an additional cleaning process that uses a hospital grade disinfectant to sanitize the unit. Fully updated 2 bed 1 bath duplex in the best location. Both bedrooms have extremely comfortable memory foam queen size beds. The living room is fully furnished with a full couch, seating and TV. Amenities include; wireless gigabit internet, TV, a full kitchen including a Keurig coffee maker and all the basics, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. I'll let you have all the privacy you want, but I am always up for giving you some good insider Austin information. Hip Bouldin Creek is in the heart of all that is Austin is famous for—many popular retailers, restaurants, food trucks, BBQ, music, and art venues. The home is in a prime location with easy access to SoCo, Zilker Park, Barton Springs, and Town Lake. This is the absolute perfect location for just about any special event. Only a 10 min walk to downtown, SoCo, Barton Springs, 6th Street, Rainey and Red River. Palmer Event Center, Long Center and Auditorium Shores is only a block away. There is also bus stop and Bcycle station (bike rental) one block away and you can easily Uber or Lyft to any location in Austin.

Outdoor space now has turfgrass installed now w/ upgraded landscaping and a large planter. The yard is fully fenced specifically for this space adding privacy & freedom for your pet. Parking is free street parking out in front of the property. Great use of space.

The Zilker Park Oasis with Heated Pool & Pinball

Head out for breakfast tacos on foot, walk to Zilker Park, take a dip in the private pool or just stay inside and rest in a light-filled living space with high ceilings, hardwood floors and smart tv's. The house is just two miles from downtown in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Walk to Zilker Park, the Town Lake hike and bike trail, and great restaurants and bars on Barton Springs Road and South Lamar. All major ride-share companies operate here. This is a non-smoking and pet free home.

Condo Steps from Barton Springs and Zilker Park.

Just steps from Barton Springs Pool and Zilker Park. Visit the many activities the park and Lady Bird Lake provides. A short walk to restaraunts, bars, trails, paddle boarding, swimming, arts, museums, theaters, etc. High speed google fiber internet will provide a wonderful work or entertainment environment in this mid century modern home. April 2025: The neighbors in the back have started constructing a new home which creates some noise. Please take this into account when booking.

Great Location! This stylish duplex home is situated on a quiet street 1 mile to Town Lake and HEB, 1.5 miles to iconic South Congress, and 2 miles to Rainey and 6th Street. The property is minutes from Barton Springs, Lake Austin, the Moody Center, The University of Texas, and all UT stadiums. Just a short ride to all of the ACL and SXSW festivities! We are also located less than 20 minutes from Circuit of the Americas and 10 minutes from the airport. This is THE premier location.

Sweet South Austin Bungalow in Bouldin Creek

Cool private bungalow in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood of S. Austin. Open-plan house with tons of windows, a full kitchen, dishwasher, washer & dryer. The modern bathroom is flooded with natural light. Upstairs is an extra sleeping/hang-out space - a bit tight, but cozy - with a half bath. Sofa bed is downstairs, but in the cooler months, twin sofa bed option upstairs as well. Secluded side-yard deck or front porch allows guests to enjoy the outside in private.
