Walnut Farm homestay

Our place is self contained , separate from the main house. 2 bedrooms are upstairs access 2nd bedroom through first. No full oven but several other cooking options. One hour to Rotorua or Tauranga, less than 30 mins to Rotorua lakes or Whakatane .15 mins drive to Kawerau closest New World supermarket. Homestay is behind our house so follow the gravel drive around ours to park next to our woodshed. Sorry no EV charge available but charging stations are close by in Kawerau or Whakatane

You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. Right on the edge of the beautiful lake Rotoiti. Relax to the sound of the lapping waves and native bird song. We have one modern fully self contained apartment in Coastlands, Whakatane, we live above apartment which is at rear on ground floor. Only 400 metres walk to main beach access, good fishing with Surfcasting or Kontiki fishing or maybe take a stroll or relax and enjoy this lovely beach. 7 minutes drive to shopping, supermarket. We highly recommend you try Awakeri Rail Adventures during your stay for a fun kiwiana experience, our top pick !

Bush haven private studio

Surrounded by the bush, our unique cosy studio is a welcome retreat. Breakfast and good coffee is provided for our guests. Situated at the top of a hill with good views. We are within walking distance to the beautiful Nga Tapuwai o Toi walking track, 5 mins drive to Ohope beach and Whakatane town. Listen to the call of native birds, including Kiwi. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down. This is a great place to unwind and relax.

Set on a large beach front site semi attached to my house. Sunny, unobstucted sea views and quiet West End, Ohope beach location. Wake up to the sound of the birds. Parking for boats. Activities - swimming, surfing, fishing, yachting, kayaking, golfing... or just chilling out. 5 minute walk to cafe and boutique shops including an art/craft gallery. 10 minutes drive to Whakatane. An amazing coastal walkway very close.
