Situated in the idyllic Irish countryside, just 4 miles from the heritage village of Ardara, Curragh Mór Cottage is the perfect country escape. It is a self-service cottage. It includes 2 bedrooms (which can sleep up to 5 people), a spacious shower room, a kitchen and a living room. Outdoors, guests can take full advantage of the expansive lawn and garden. Also, Curragh Mór Cottage is located beside a family farm. It is the perfect place for families or couples looking for a peaceful escape.

Harben Cottage in the green hills of Ardara

Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

Luxurious modern cottage

This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

It showcases just what can be made from bits and pieces around us. Discover an interior wall made from old doors, a kitchen counter held up on Singers, shelves from old drawers from thrown out dressers, and more. Spend the day reading in the rocking chair, playing cards by the fire, sitting in the garden or taking a 5min stroll to the local village.

Dora’s Cottage

Dora’s cottage is located in Malinmore, Glencolumbkille on the spectacular Slieve League Peninsula. The village is surrounded by mountains, lakes, rocky sea cliffs, wildlife and sandy beaches. Dora’s cottage is a short distance from Malinmore pier and has beautiful coastal walks. The cottage has been lovingly restored and in keeping with the charm of an old cottage style. All the modern day comforts of WiFi, oil central heating and modern bathroom make for a comfortable stay.

Donegal off-grid, Eco-cottage, Glencolmcille

Meenasillagh sits beside its own stream & waterfall. The new open plan living room & sleeping area has floor to ceiling windows and stunning views. Our nearest neighbour is way over the hill so you'll be completely undisturbed during your stay. The cottage and water is heated by stove using turf/ wood. A complimentary bag of each will be available on arrival. The kitchen and shower room are modern and well equipped. There's a gas-powered fridge.
