This historic beauty features hardwood floors and beadboard ceilings which are original to the building from early 1920s. Situated near restaurants and shopping, this is an ideal romantic "Mayberryesque" experience. Outdoor activities include the Uwharrie mountains and Lake Tillery. The historic Town Creek Indian Mound is another must see. Lefler's Place cafe is one of the oldest restaurants in NC. Built in 1922.

There are no cameras anywhere in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop Challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery—Badin Lake, is a twenty-minute ride. Dennis Vineyards is 8 miles away. Guests over one are an additional $15 per day per person (kids under 2 N/C a pet charge of $10 per day per animal. Pets MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. (Airbnb cannot charge the correct "daily" pet fee.) We will ask for any difference after you book.
