This historic 1870s brick flat iron building sits at the corner of Old Tiger Stadium in the heart of Corktown, Detroit's Oldest Neighborhood. You're steps away from acclaimed restaurants, shops, cafes, speakeasies, breweries & distilleries & 1/2 mile to downtown. Exposed walls & ceiling beams, Moroccan rugs, 1970s weavings and mid century furniture make it a chic oasis in a bustling city.

Sky Carriage House: Light, Bright, Corktown Escape

You'll be staying in our newly constructed carriage house at the back of our property in the heart of Corktown - Detroit's oldest historic neighborhood. This private dwelling is accessed from the back alley entrance and offers high ceilings and a panoramic view of downtown and the surrounding neighborhood. The unit features 1 bedroom/1 bath, living, dining, laundry and a full kitchen. In warmer months a small cafe seating area is situated on the spanish rock drive along the green alley.

This beautiful and light filled space boasts 12 foot ceilings and exposed brick throughout. Enjoy the well appointed kitchen to cook a quick meal, or walk out your front door and enjoy a plethora of local restaurants at your fingertips! This cozy lower flat is located just outside of Detroit! Only 15 min to Downtown; 10 min to I-75 or I-94. You will have the whole lower flat to yourself! The upper flat is not in use, so no noise from upstairs! Onsite washer & dryer! 5 minutes to the Detroit River and boat ramps! The house was built in 1920, so we've decided to celebrate it's centennial by decorating in a style reminiscent of the 1920s. *Please read House Rules and description before booking.*
