Northern Michigan is beautiful in the summer and Lakeside Lookout is the perfect home base to enjoy it. You're minutes from the Gaslight District of Petoskey, the elegance of Harbor Springs, Lake Michigan sandy beach, and a scenic 30 miles from Mackinaw City for the Mackinac Island ferry. Kayak, hike or bike the North Western State Trail, or sip wine lakeside in the courtyard or private balcony.

Waterfront Cottage with Covered Boat Slip

We offer a covered boat slip. Peaceful & secluded, yet walking distance from town. Full kitchen w/dishwasher, Keurig, W& D. Please note that this is a place for those that love outdoors & has no air conditioning, wi-fi or cable. Verizon & AT&T in area. Fire pit outside. We are pet friendly but we've had a few instances that have resulted in us having to adopt a pet policy & pet fee. We charge $25/night, per pet, max of $250. Upon booking, call us & we will send policy form & collect payment.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

My little home has everything you need for your up north getaway with so many options of outdoor amenities/activities! Walking trail that leads to the cute town of Alanson where there is dining and shops. Take a dip in the pool and have a picnic, play tennis or pickleball. Enjoy a bonfire under the trees in the backyard. You can't beat the location, with easy access to Crooked River, Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Mackinaw City. *Boat Launch at the river for a $15 fee.
