Du liebst Kunst und Geschichte? Du denkst täglich an die Römer? Mein 400jähriges Haus, auf dem Fundament eines Römer-Turms erbaut, war früher Teil eines Schlosses und ist voller Geschichte, Bücher, Kunst, Musik, Inspiration und Liebe. Willkommen im «The Artist's Castle», meinem Schloss Kunterbunt. Hier trifft Geschichte auf good vibes. Atme durch, sei du. Du willst kreieren? Atelier und Werkstatt warten auf dich. Mit Blick auf den Fluss in meiner historischen Oase im mittelalterlichen Eglisau.

Cozy country house with beautiful views; detached; surrounded by greenery; 1.5 km from the village; 30-minute drive to the city, in the heart of a hiking area. Large lawn, terrace with views (pergola), fire pit/grill. The house includes a privat 2-room apartment with a separate entrance, not for rent. The access road to the house is a narrow private road with passing places. Winter: a 4WD vehicle is required in snowy conditions! Unfortunately, pets are not allowed due to my severe allergies.

Historic, calm & stylish

The spacious (25 m2) renovated studio on the third floor has a separate private bathroom across the non-private hallway. It has a kingsize bed, fridge, coffee machine, water kettle and a table to work with high-speed Wifi. In the hallway you will find a little kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, sink, a washer/dryer & a printer/scanner/copy machine. Heating with heat from the earth. We are almost CO2 neutral thanks to our new solar roof.
