Our Lake Cabin atop 8,524m² of land offers that magical sense of escape, yet has two major shopping centres, a host of quality amenities and public transport all within a few minutes’ drive. Mavis' Mountain Cottage overlooking the Gold Coast

Mavis's Mountain Cottage is fully self contained, light, airy and located on parkland acres on the eastern escarpment. The Gold Coast views are breathtaking! The cottage contains fully equipped kitchen, high ceilings, Wi-Fi, aircon and ceiling fans. There are two outdoor decks and picnic basket provided for your use. Easy walking distance to local wineries and the popular glowworm caves. A short drive to local cafes and shops on the famous Gallery Walk and walking trails in the National Parks.

Hinterland Barn, national park, cafés, restaurants

This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

Beechmont Mountain View Chalet is a lovingly restored charming home in a beautiful secluded, peaceful location on the edge of the rainforest overlooking Lamington National Park, Mt Warning Springbrook and the Numinbah Valley. This serene location enables you to listen to abundant bird calls and watch the native animals without disturbing them. The chalet offers private and uninterrupted views of the surrounding area. For those seeking an escape, the chalet offers everything you could want.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. May's is one of two fully self-contained apartments within this building. Each apartment has it's own entrance and you can enjoy your exclusive outside stone bath, relax in front of the indoor fireplace, cuddle up on the king-sized bed or veg out in the hammock. This beautiful bushland property has high-tide access to Moreton Bay, is 10 minutes drive from Straddie's beaches and 15 minutes from Brown Lake. You'll feel like you're in another world.

Enjoy the plant filled space where you can enjoy a breakfast of fresh bread, eggs, cereal, milk, butter, jam, honey & coffee. At night light the fireplace with the wood provided. Take the picnic basket and rug provided, & explore the Mountain. We are located on the Main Road leading into Gallery Walk. If you are sensitive to road noise we might not be the perfect place for you.
