Awesome for family, the adventurer, the gold panner, and the lovers of wine.. 20 minutes from Wilkesboro Speedway for racing fans! 30 min. to Mayberry. Close to Winston-Salem. House by the River

Guest suite is the entire front portion (approx 1000 sq ft) of our home. There are no shared interior spaces. Guest suite consists of 2 large bedrooms, living room, foyer, and large bathroom. Both bedrooms have large closets, TV, and new mattresses in 2024. Dedicated workspace and electric fireplace in front bedroom. Large living room with (non operational) fireplace and large TV. All 3 Tvs with Netflix, Hulu, Disney etc and high speed wifi. Large foyer with microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig.

‘Back in Time’ Farm Stay Cabin

Travel back in time as you enter our enchanted cabin. A shop we have painstakingly converted to a cabin. You will find our 1 room cabin with all the charm of the late 1800s with a few added modern touches. The cabin is equipped with 2 full size iron beds, 2 large rocking chairs, a handmade farmhouse table, and wood burning stove. There is a 1/2 bath inside the cabin & an out door shower available all year round. This shower is equipped with a propane tankless water heater with hot water

A 1937 farmhouse completely renovated and updated in 2020 provides a great get-a-way to the country. Spend some time watching the cows that call this 10-acre farm home. The house has 2 bedrooms with walk-in closets, 2 bathrooms, laundry area, kitchen, dining area, large living room, enclosed porch, and attic space with two twin beds. There is a single carport and circle driveway . The property is conveniently located near Mitchell River, hiking trails, vineyards, and only 3 miles from I-77.

The house is adjacent to our primary residence. A previous owner used the home for a doll collection, with some sold to the Smithsonian. The home is walking distance to quaint downtown Elkin, where there are wineries, a brewery, restaurants, and Oct. 2017 the Reeves theater opens as a music venue. Kayaking, canoeing, hiking Stone Mountain, Elkin Valley Mountain to the Sea Trail, antique shopping. Elkin valley has the same viticulture stamp as the NAPA Valley!! Cycling trails nearby.
