Originally built in 1940, caretaker's cabin is a quaint one bedroom suite complete with a full bath, microwave, mini fridge and coffee. Off road parking and a secluded entry makes the cabin perfect for a romantic or working getaway. Located next to the Osborn Historic District in the heart of Fairborn, the Armstrong Homestead is an easy stroll to the downtown shops and restaurants. Xenia Dr provides direct access to the main highways, making most of Dayton reachable in 30 min or less.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. The Mitchell Car is cozy but has the feel of a traditional caboose. Our Chessie System No. 3277 sleeps 4: 1 queen bed and 2 bunks. It has a stand up shower. The sink in the bathroom is original to the car. Single pod coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave are provided. Linens and bedding are provided. Cyclists are welcome to bring their bikes inside.
