The South Stable is a unique, recently redecorated stable with a little bit of Morden rustic country living thrown in. A beautiful renovation with wool carpets, handmade kitchen and top-end appliances, its scrumptious dark green bathroom with walk-in shower, roll-top bath and plaster walls. Set amongst rolling hills and wooded valleys, this striking conversion offers delightful accommodation, a south facing patio and use of a tennis court. Close to the market town of Faversham and the historic city of Canterbury, as well as Leeds Castle and fashionable Whitstable, it is an idyllic holiday spot or stopover on route to the continent, perfect for families or a romantic break.

Great getaway in Kent countryside

We have a standalone studio benefitting from its own kitchenette and bathroom, tucked away in the village of Brabourne Lees, Kent. The accommodation is within the main house, but with its own front door and privacy. The location is ideal for hiking or cycling in the nearby countryside, enjoying country pubs and visiting the coast. We are also 15-min drive from the Shuttle and 30-min from Dover. You can enjoy a day trip to the historic centre of Canterbury, Port Lympne Reserve and lots more.

Watermill, beautiful village of Wye, North Downs

Listed watermill, mentioned in Domesday book, converted into a Georgian house in 1776, set in 8 acres, 100m from train station (Canterbury and London ). Wye has restaurants, pubs and shops in the village. Accommodation is in the old Mill, with 5 bedrooms (2 ensuite), (sometimes an extra bedroom and bathroom), a fully fitted new kitchen, a grand dining-sitting room over the river. Private terrace overlooking river, and 3-acre island , rowboat, wild water swimming. We welcome up to 2 dogs.

Historic town of Canterbury is nearby but beach is only a short drive away too. Being just over an hour from London and 10 minutes from the Euro tunnel its ideal for a 'quick stop off' or a 'tranquil get away'.
