Big R's Retreat Secluded and located in Nature

Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Driftless Lodge Rustic Spacious Cabin

The Driftless Lodge is located in the beautiful Driftless area of WI on our working farm. It sleeps 9 people, 3 floors with 3 full bathrooms, large loft, deck w/charcoal grill, 2200 square feet of living area. Outside the cabin you will see our American Paint Horses, goats, 2 sheep, farm cats and beef cattle. We are located a few miles from Class 1 trout streams, Wisconsin River, & direct access from property to ATV/UTV routes , public land for hiking , snowmobile trails, and much more.

River Trails Cottage

Have fun with the entire family or a group of friends in a quiet peaceful setting. The cabin sits on 2 acres and attaches to 8700 acres of public land that is open to hunting, hiking and abundant with wildlife which makes this property great for the outdoor enthusiast. The property is 6/10 mile from a public boat landing where you can fish, kayak or canoe the Wisconsin River. There are multiple parks relatively close that offer excellent hiking trails. Direct access to miles of ATV/UTV trails.

Driftless Region Cabin/ Stream and Sauna

Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Our home features notty pine in every room, maple floors, granite counters, three fireplaces, a huge deck and a view that is simply breathtaking. In the morning there might be an eagle waiting for you.

Peaceful Driftless A-Frame

Nestled among two acres in the rolling hills and lush greenery of the Driftless Area, this A-frame cabin stands as a serene retreat, blending harmoniously with its natural surroundings. The decor is a blend of modern comforts and rustic elements, with comfortable furnishings. Seated in the heart of the Kickapoo valley, there's no shortage of class 1 trout streams near by, public hunting easements, UTV trails, hiking, canoeing and easy access to all of the wonderful amenities the area offers.

Larsen Farm Secluded Farmhouse with Hotub

Secluded farmhouse with glass hot tub room 600 acres of private trails to hike and explore the cave. Bring your UTV and ride the trails for $30 per driver and $10 per passenger or rent a UTV for $300. Close to trout fishing stream or Mississippi for fishing. Approx 15 miles from Prairie Du Chein, close to canoeing for the Kickapoo, Wisconsin river. Has a gas & charcoal grill, pool table, firepit, Smart TV. Private trails closed Oct 15th thru mid Feb There is Access to public UTV trails.

Cabin is cozy, with an aesthetic we're calling supper-club-chic. The perfect place to read, relax, reconnect. Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's Driftless area, a remote, lovely, nearly-wild kingdom, easy driving distance from Chicago and Madison. As of 2025, a resident beaver family are redesigning the creek/yard: you'll have a front row seat.

Riverside Chalet, LLC

Welcome to the Wisconsin River! Our 1750 sq. ft. cozy riverside chalet features 300 feet of river frontage, master bedroom in the loft, deck overlooking the river, bunk beds, full kitchen, propane fireplace, firepit, and a natural spring running through the yard. The property offers stunning views from every room in the house as well as easy access to the river. Our location has a beautiful view, stunning in fact, but we are very close to Hwy. 60 and there is heavy traffic noise.

Wildwood Retreat

This 3-bedroom house is perfect for your escape to Boscobel. With 1 queen bed, 2 bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and a full on the top bunk, this tranquil retreat offers a soothing atmosphere for guests. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a washing machine and dryer, WiFi, and heating. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with a shower and hair dryer. Experience the magic of Boscobel at our house. Enjoy the sunsets overlooking the field bordering the back of the house.

Paradise Point sleeps 2 Hot Tub

1 bedroom 1 bath with loft. Cozy home where you can see Paradise. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Views for miles of the Mississippi River, bluff tops and you can soar with the Eagles. What a place to relax in the newly added hot tub while you enjoy the view in what is call "God's Country". This is promised to be a one of a kind view. The Deck with comfortable outdoor seating Located in the heart of WIsconsin's Driftless Region.
