The Back Forty Solar Cottage

Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

Goosewing Homestead Hunter Valley

Our Homestead and Cottage (please see our Goosewing Cottage listing too) are fully self-contained, architect-designed and immaculately presented. We are located in the peaceful, picturesque rural township of Mount View, around a 15-20 minute drive from Pokolbin. We are surrounded by neighbouring farms, lush, rolling pastures and an abundance of native wildlife. The stunning Homestead has panoramic views over the Brokenback Ranges and surrounding countryside, as well as its own private pool.

Sole use of private 4 acre rural property, 2 hrs north of Sydney. Walk to Wollombi village from this large country home (sleeps 12), with friendly farm animals. Wide verandahs overlooking rural views, set on a 4 acre private garden estate. There's a small plunge pool to swim in, and a huge games room with a pool table, piano and library. The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and suits those wanting to wind down by the fire pit in winter or on the back deck watching the sunset in summer - whilst enjoying the bounty of the Wine Country region. A picturesque 25 minute drive will have you in the heart of the wineries during the day - then back to Claret Ash Cottage by night to wine, dine and admire the view.
