Beautiful stay, everything was clean and as described. A lot of room and really nicely furnished. I would recommend it for sure!

Great home with everything you need. Super close to town. The only thing is that the neighbors clearly dont like Airbnb. They have picket signs up protesting short-term rentals which doesnt make you feel very comfortable. Doesnt affect the house at all.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere. The house itself is cozy and comfortable. The outdoor space is a true highlight — perfect for relaxing or even having dinners on the deck and enjoying the sunsets. The host was responsive, kind, and made check-in seamless. If you're looking for a tranquil escape with stunning scenery i can't recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We will definitely be back and were sad to leave. We loved this cabin! The backyard is gorgeous! The house itself is comfortable and cozy. The beds were great and we all slept well. The main bedroom is HUGE. You could bring an inflatable bed if you needed to and it would easily fit. Others have mentioned the twin beds in the front room...they're off to the side from the kitchen and living space so it isn't like they're in the middle of that space and are bigger than they appear in pictures FYI and the second bathroom is near so that is also convenient. My large boys (ages 13 & 15) liked hanging out on the twin beds in the front room. There is a General Store right across the way with great milkshakes and food too. It was fun to buzz over there and grab a treat or breakfast or a burger. We can't wait to come back.

This wonderful home was carefully crafted for luxe comfort and entertaining. The perfect setting for our family gathering, the house boasts a well-stocked gourmet kitchen, beautiful center courtyard with fire table, gas grill, and propane heater, massive common spaces with soaring ceilings, excellent wood-burning fireplace and expansive mountain views. We loved the large, spotless hot tub, terrific game room and cozy home theater. This home is unusually well-appointed, clearly designed and decorated with great care and attention to detail. Towel warmers, excellent beds, an adorable popcorn machine in the game room, I could go on and on. We didn’t want to leave the house, despite the spectacular surroundings. Our host was very responsive and welcoming. We’d love to return to this spacious, thoughtfully crafted home.

Kirstin’s place was absolutely perfect for a Christmas getaway. Relaxing and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Very close to all you need in town. The fireplace in the master bedroom was a plus! Very nice to lay in bed, reading a book, with a ‘fire’ going, in winter. We’ll be back!

We visit Kernville one to two times a a year. This was my favorite place so far out of the places my family and I have stayed. We have a family of 5 (3 kids) and they absolutely had a blast, plenty of games and activities for them to do at the house including swimming. We also had some friends and family visit us and the place was great for entertaining guests. I highly recommend staying here the host is very responsive and friendly. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

I had a wonderful stay, this place is very unique and magical. It is very peaceful and quiet, but also we were able to play music and enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards that they had to offer. It is also the best place to fish because it is located right on the water. I can’t wait to go back there again.

Pete was such an incredible host! My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be coming back. It is so peaceful and so quiet. We saw a few deer and lots of little animals in the surrounding area. The trees are beautiful and the air is so fresh and crisp. There’s so much to do in the house with dozens of board games, a bunch of movies and shows on dvd, a gaming console, fire place was so cozy, the hot tub was easy to work and was a great way to wind down our day! Definitely take advantage of the local sites like Trail of 100 Giants. The local market is adorable and everyone is so friendly. Looking forward to staying again soon!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the lazy bones lodge. We were looking to have a relaxing time together and the place, neighborhood and everything met our expectations. We feel very pleased and definitely will be back anytime we have the opportunity. If you are looking for a relaxing time with your family (specially if you have children, they will love the place and explore the nature around) I strongly recommend you The Lazy Bones Lodge. Personally, I loved the view to the lake, I enjoyed having a drink with the amazing view. Also, Kimberley and Ed, they communicate very well. They responded quickly to all of my questions.

The home was just right for us! It was just as the pictures shown. It was clean, lots of room and peaceful. On our next visit to Lake Isabella, we will definitely check availability for Michael & Ben's home. Thanks for a great stay!

Wow, Angie’s cabin is AMAZING! If you’re looking for a calm, peaceful and quiet retreat surrounded by gorgeous redwood and pine trees, this is the place for you! At night, it was so quiet that you could’ve heard a single branch falling. That kind of serenity is so find to hard and providing so much tranquility. When we arrived, the property and area were absolutely covered in snow. It really felt like paradise 🥰 My pupper was also soooo happy here and loved all of the smells of the outdoor area. The cabin itself is so cozy and comfy, and we loved the quirkiness of the tile in the kitchen. I would 10000000% book another stay here and definitely plan to in the future!

Great place to stay for a vacation, especially when wanting to disconnect from the world and just relax. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family, especially if they're headed up the Sequoia National Forest.

Our stay at the rental house in Wofford Heights was absolutely wonderful! The house was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Its location was perfect—just a 10-minute drive to Alta Sierra Ski Resort, making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes. The surrounding forest was serene and beautiful, offering a peaceful retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

Private convenient place near all the restaurants that are worth going to in Kernville. Jennifer also let me check in early which was great!
