Belle Plain Caboose: Relaxing Romance w/Fishing!

Step into the Belle Plain Caboose, a one-of-a-kind romantic retreat on an 800-acre working ranch, where the charm of a converted train caboose meets the allure of the outdoors. Offering some of the best fishing in the area, this unique getaway invites you to cast a line from its exceptional back dock. Relax on the screened porch or gather around the firepit under the stars. This transformed caboose not only provides a cozy stay but also adds a touch of novelty, making it an unforgettable escape.

Petite Retreat (Pet Friendly - 1 Small Pet Only)

This cozy cabin escape is perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking a secluded, safe, and affordable place to unwind. Designed for comfort, the space includes a queen bed, a private bathroom, and a functional wet bar equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. While it doesn’t offer a living room or kitchen, the retreat provides everything you need for a comfortable stay including fiber optic internet and WiFi. Pets are allowed but limited to one (1) under 35 lbs.

Secluded railcar and caboose with incredible view

Quiet and peaceful setting overlooking Elm Valley just 9 min from Buffalo Gap. The fully renovated railcar and caboose are connected by a large back patio that boasts one of the most spectacular views in Taylor County. The railcar is the larger of the two and has a king size bed, walk in shower, full kitchen, and living area. The caboose has a queen size bed, small living area, half bath, mini fridge and coffee bar. Smart TVs and WI-FI in each. Relax and unwind at this one of a kind retreat.

This sophisticated retreat, laced with western tones, sits less than 1/4 mile from Hardin-Simmons University and Hendrick Medical Center; 2 miles from Downtown Abilene dining, shopping, and entertainment. The ground floor features a snug living space, full-size appliances in a stocked kitchen, and the sleek sky-lit bathroom. Upstairs, relax in the lovely navy bedroom designed for a soothing sleep. We hope you’ll find this apartment to be a luxurious oasis coming off the dusty trail!

Country cabin close to the city

The cabin is located on a gated and fenced six acre property just outside of Buffalo Gap offering great security to our guests. It’s a quiet country place but only 10 miles from the Mall of Abilene. It’s very close to the Abilene state park, the historic village, Beltway Park Church, Wylie and Jim Ned Schools, and the world famous Perini Steakhouse. It is about 20 minutes from ACU or HSU. The property and surrounding area is great for walks and there is a Dollar General close by.

Recently remodeled from 1950's era offices into a beautiful living space boasting 14' ceilings, gorgeous original windows, and over 3k sqft of living space. The stone and shiplap walls have been uncovered and are on full display after being hidden for over 130 yrs. A variety of locally owned boutiques, antique stores, and restaurants are just steps away.

Modern cozy duplex close to downtown!

Very simple, but beautiful and comfortable place to stay. You will be staying in one apartment of a duplex. Only 7 minutes away from downtown Abilene (by car), where you can find amazing cafes (Front Porch Cafe, Monk's cafe), and restaurants (Vagabond Pizza, The Local). House is located to close to Sayles Boulevard and Butternut street, which makes it a breeze to get around. There is also an air mattress that you can use for the 5th and 6th person. Thank you!!

A cozy 280 sq. ft. tiny house in the country is a great place to take it easy and enjoy the West Texas sunsets, star gazing and wildlife. Less than 10 min. from some of the best BBQ in West Texas, World's Largest Rattlesnake Roundup (March) and minutes from area lakes for great fishing. The home has an open concept kitchen, living room and queen size bed. The bathroom features a large metal stock tank bathtub with shower. WiFi and Secure parking area.

Little House in the Backyard

This new backyard guest house is on a tree-lined street. Full kitchen with gas range is perfect for weekend dinners or to stay longer. The decorative welcome sign folds up to a table for two. The living room is a perfect place to unwind with WiFi and AppleTV or an assortment of books. It is pet friendly and can accommodate kids on floor pallets, if needed. This house is in our family's backyard, but we make sure you have a private stay.
